2 questions: - Any recommendations on where to drink prematch, that cricket ground looks awful and probs waiting 30 mins to get a drink, don’t mind city centre but surely not all saints are going cricket ground. - Any recommendations on where to head post match to go out in Bristol that isn’t going to be a student club?

Any advice on how to get to the ground from the city centre with no trams running? -

Just a heads up that the trams aren't running on the Friday and will need to get bus or taxi to the ground from the city, not been Hillsborough before but looks too far to walk. -
Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?
NorthLondonSFC replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
We haven’t played at Hillsborough since 2013 and only played there 5 times since the millennium. It’s our first game back in the championship and also Friday night in the summer. Will be a new away for many of the younger generations including myself. We’ll be taking 3k minimum up there regardless of ticket price. -
Not transfer related but have heard we are closing down our academy in Bath with a load of coaches losing their job and a bunch of kids released
-
Ryan Manning from Swansea on a free seems a given, highly rated in the championship, primarily LB but can also play CM, 10 assists 5 goals last season.
-
Never heard of this happening before but Arsenal fans are buying up spare tickets in the away end, I know someone who's sold 3 for £200 and there seems to be a load morw on twitter offering to pay more than face value, crazy times.

It will be #MarchingUpTogether

Mate of mine is going tomorrow with Brentford, he started going to games when they got in the Prem because he’s a Liverpool fan?! Anyway he’s been told by the club he needs to pick up a new ticket outside the ground tomoz as they’ve had to move parts of the away end for segregation reasons.

Bruno Lage next in line according to my relatively unreliable source

The Chicken Balti pie was absolutely banging tbf

Funny enough I didn't think our support was that good, one OWTS in the second half was loud but besides from that cant remember much ( might have been the beers), there was quite a lot of us celebrating Adams goal in the concourse.... I think most people were just so pissed off to concede so early and effectively knock us out of the tie before the game had really even started.

What is the best goal you've ever seen live at a Saints game?
NorthLondonSFC replied to tunit's topic in The Saints
One of my favs is the Jan Paul Saejis fk vs Watford in the last min. Also Lallana vs QPR which was the same season I think? In more recent years then Redmonds against Chelsea, although it was even better in person as you couldn’t see it deflected off Kante beforehand. -
Not sure if anyone has suggested this yet but to me it seems like he’s being brought in to work alongside Selles. Jones would be more inclined to share the role with our hotshot prodigy coach than a manager who was more established.

Not sure what to make of a deeply religiously man who also always wears stoney.

Any pubs in Bournemouth for this one? My first time at the vitality so not exactly sure what to expect with pubs & away fans, assuming it wont be as hostile as the welcoming we got at Pompey a few years ago!
-
I have a ticket for this as cant make it due to train strikes, can meet in London for pick up if anyone wants it
-
Has anyone else figured out a way to get there via train? London Northwest railway are running a severely limited service on 8th to Crewe and then can get a train from Crewe to Manchester via Cross Country/Northern Trains. No info provided on times etc yet but in theory it is possible. I haven't decided whether its worth the risk of then getting stranded in Manchester with no way back to London.

The 19/20 season before Covid we were doing the exact same, Chelsea Boxing day & 2-1 win away at Leicester sticking out in memory of people being pissed that the allocation was smaller. I think post Covid we started to take full allocations in most places but it does appear now that the club are going back to their old ways. We should have really sold out Wolves but for those that did the trip last season was probs enough to put anyone off. Villa & Leicester both understandable due to strikes/Friday. When was the last time we sold out City away? Have we ever? Even first game back in the Prem wasn't a sell out there, United usually more favored so I can see where the club is coming from when making these decisions.

I smell a conspiracy..... The Lyanco 'kit leak' was definitely staged by the club.
