I talked a mate into buying a season ticket... he is a Hibs fan but has always had a soft spot for Saints. More the merrier I say!

Buy it before, get the Ajax ticket and ask to collect it before the game.

Is there a new home kit due this season or is the current one to run til next season?

You get 1 free Ajax ticket per season ticket. Basically so if you've brought a ST then you can go to the Ajax game for free. I got two ST and thus got 2 free Ajax tickets (1 adult, 1 child).. also brought an additional ticket so my only outlay for 3 tickets was 10 quid.

Got my two season tickets. Thought I'd try Block 10 row C. Also got some additional tickets for Ajax which we will be racing back from Devon to watch. Woohoo!

I used to watch Sholing play from time to time before they disappeared and their ground became houses. Mrs Ampersound and I moved just outside of Farnborough/Aldershot about 4 years ago and I've been to watch the "shots" a few times last season. It was good to watch some football live instead of on the box but it just didn't get my heart pumping like watching Saints. The last Saints game I saw last season was at home against Charlton which I took my 2 year son to his first game. Really didn't think he'd sit and watch so I was expecting to leave early at some point but he absolutely loved it. He was in awe of the whole experience, the crowd, the noise and sometimes the football.... which exactly how I feel every time I watch Saints even after 35 years (assuming I was born to support them).

I agreed that it most likely will be about 20 quid for a match day ticket. Its 15 quid for Aldershot in League two which I've used for comparison.

Well said Exit2. I don't think Tony's credibilty is on the line at all. Its painful waiting but these things do take time. If it means some players and the manager are out of contract... fine. If they leave now of their own accord as free agents then its upto them or they can stick about to see what happens. It might be the best decision they've ever made if the take up happens. I feel sorry for the "normal" staff of SMS if they don't get paid today but hopefully they might have learnt from last month and put something extra aside in case it went belly up this month.

Perhaps that is plan b to get around the issues with the FL.
