Totally agree with you there trousers. Everyone and his dog are trying to be seen "helping them" but I see it as them covering their backs for when they run out of money and go pop. I think the pompey trust/plan b team have been given the go ahead to set up a new team which is why they have signed a confidentially agreement. They have to act in the next few weeks to get a team set up for next season. The current Pompey team will be finished by end of may I think. Probably all wrong but it's fun trying to second guess what will happen

I disagree that this is pointless. I mentioned how quiet we were on the reaction thread. The support throughout the stadium was quite good for 35 mins until passes went astray and we missed a few chances. It just went completely flat. Granted the Ipswich support was fairly quiet from where I was (chapel itchen corner) so there wasn't any banter between fans but considering are / were (depending how west ham get on tonight) top you would think we should making a bit more noise. Shame really.

Us fans went quiet as a whole last night from 35 mins in until rickie scored. It wasn't helped by Ipswich fans only getting involved when they scored. I do wish we can keep the noise level up for the run in regardless of how we are playing.

First 30 mins thought we would win convincingly. Guly played well and tackled well but he ran out of steam when we changed shape for 15 mins in the 2nd half. Hammond was missing for most of the game. Harding was poor and the number of times he gets caught when he gets the ball as the last man..poor. He was forcing Jos to pull over to cover him more and once Scotland came on and sat on Hardings shoulder i could see their goal coming. Lee was great and full of running. Steve did what was expected of him when he came on. Draw fair result in the end I suppose. 3 points against Barnsley please.

Rickie probably won't even get a looking in if we were in the prem. more to do with playing for unfashionable club. This is why most of the bottom half clubs in the prem don't have that many players in the NT.
