I assume the board will just let this continue and we’re just to have to accept being gaslit for a good while longer when we can all see how bad it is, definitely until it’s too late for our promotion chances, but leave us just enough time to scrape away from relegation if it really REALLY goes to shit and then make a change. Or maybe they’re content and happy to just survive in the Championship this year and will accept mid-table as a finishing position and we’ll have Martin forevermore this season - Imagine. I can’t see how we have a better chance than this season to go back up, surely promotion will only get harder as the years pass by. So depressing, I thought we really had a good chance to fight for a chance of some sort of promotion challenge, can guarantee I’ll be checking out of this season if we’re going to languish below mid-table with Martin over the coming months, I hope the board have more ambition than that.

I’ve got £50 on Martin telling us that we played well, should have been 5-0 up before they scored, unlucky to concede the penalty, but he’s proud with the effort the lads put it, never gave up and we’ll be alright if we keep playing like this. Needs to get nasty, it’s awful tactics, all the opposition teams know to high press us as we’re 100% playing out from the back and they’re looking for the mistake. It has to stop, or at least, not be f****ng predictable!

If there was a betting market that we’d concede after get caught playing it out from the back, I’d have a few quid by now. Its gifting the opposition goals, such a farce and so obvious, but too self-righteous to change it and get Bazunu just to lump it up the field. So frustrating and infuriating.

With Tella and Che quite clearly on their way. The only thing I’m convinced of is we’re shipping 30+ goals out of the door and Fraser so far ain’t going to replace them. We’re selling our chance of promotion, promotion which brings back all the income opportunities that the EPL brings for short-term financials rather than long-term. I hope the final week of the window will change my feeling, but we are considerably weaker as these weeks go on.
