Well, I think this is a complete disaster and the fact Anthony Cole-Johnson hasn’t responded himself is very poor and bad management. It’s critical that the MD and ACJ reads the complaints from fans. Some of these have had STs in Block 31 since St Marys Stadium was built in 2001. There shouldn’t be any increases in tickets, anywhere in the stadium. When the club faces losing hundreds/thousands of ticket sales ! There is no 'big deal' about padded seats as they’re standard at other grounds like Brighton for example. The cost of tickets these days really blows out any ‘experience’ from them. Saints fans are only interested in seeing the club win home games. Which is something that has been lacking in recent seasons. Fans also don’t want to see any corporate gentrifying of other parts of the ground. The Itchen central stand should only be used. The gentrifying of the gasworks bar has been a massive flop compared to what was previously in place. I can see someone in an office at St Marys frantically trying to look at ways to fleece fans of more money and they may well even be getting a bonus for it. Their job roles have always been ‘sales…sales….more sales’ and will highlighted big and bold on their CV and especially LInkedIn. Instead they should be looking to fill those empty hospitality boxes in the Itchen stand. This is Southampton not London, we simply don’t have the disposable income.

Well i think its more than obvious going on the current climate and 'performances' on the pitch that there shouldnt be any price increases. I expect to see 10-15% of season tickets not renewed and this could get messy with crazy price increases being demanded.
