  1. £15-20m personally. Get rid imo. He had one good season with us, aint getting any younger, and his lack of pace means we can't play our ideal higher line. Sell and bring in someone younger and quicker to partner Salisu.
  2. Thats a shame, maybe we could get a loan with an option
  3. Looks good to me. 12 goal contributions (10 goals) in about 1900 minutes in the Eredivisie for Vitesse. Not bad at all for a 19 year old. Would be excited to sign him and have a buy back like Livramento rather than a loan, seems to have potential. At a quick glance seems to be used to playing in a front two, given Vitesse seem to mainly play a 352. I'd be happy enough with him plus another.
  4. Only watching one team would be pretty boring, a lot of goals though since there would be no one in the nets. So are you hoping for relegation then? We'd win more in the Championship no doubt. If a win against Liverpool is no more impressive to you than a win against has-beens like Sheffield Wednesday maybe you'd be more happy watching us go down a league.
  5. I think we give a take it or leave it offer to Blackburn and if they accept we buy a decent second forward, if they don't we get Edouard and an academy option.
  6. Depends on the size of the offer I guess. Sounds like Palace are offering about £12m plus addons and Norwich aren't interested, according to their local press. If we offer £16m or so then they need to decide if they think Palace will eventually go past that because we are walking away if it doesn't get accepted.
  7. You guess wrong. I supported saints in league one, I supported them in the championship, and I support them in the premier league. But while I supported them in the lower leagues I was wanting them to get promoted, get better, and eventually be a team that could stand toe to toe with Englands best. Now they are here I realise how much work went into getting here and how much better we play than we did back then. I don't want my side to go back to being a championship level football team. If I was "more a fan of the premier league" then why would I care, I'd just support a different prem side if we got relegated? I couldn't give a fuck if some overpaid pundit brings up the 9-0, just like I didn't care when they banged on about liverpool taking our players, I don't really care what they think.
  8. Anyone with an athletic subscription want to give the highlights?
  9. I like good football. I want to see my team play the highest level football against the highest level opponent. I don't want us to play hoofball root one championship football against poor quality championship sides. Obviously seeing your team play and beat teams at the highest level is more satisfying, otherwise I'd go watch football down the park, it's a lot cheaper.
  10. I think it highlights two very very poor goalkeeping displays and one instance of massively poor defensive depth. One is being addressed and the other is, infuriatingly, not. But will be next summer hopefully.
  11. I don't care all too much about Ralph's career, nor do I care about a commentator occasionally saying "hey remember when these guys lost 9-0!?". Neither of those things really bother me, I don't have particularly thin skin. If JWP left, that would bother me. If I had to see all our talented youngsters (Salisu, Tella, Adams, Diallo, Livramento, KWP, ect.) fulfilling their potential with Villa or Palace instead of us, that would bother me. If instead of watching my team go toe to toe with Liverpool and City I had to watch them take on the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, that would bother me. If we lost Ralph and brought in Pardew, Howe or someone like that, that would bother me. Relegation matters more than one bad result as relegation completely changes a team, one bad result is a slightly tedious commentator talking point until they get bored and discuss something else.
  12. It's because it doesn't actually matter that much. Like if we'd gotten relegated it could have cost the club hundreds of millions of pounds, it would mean all our best players would leave, the manager would leave, we would be watching Saints vs Millwall rather than Man city this season. Massive stuff. It would be a huge deal for the club. If we hadn't have lost 9-0 and had instead lost 3-0 it literally wouldn't have effected us in the slightest. Slightly better goal diff for a team which was safe by the 2nd of January. The net consequence of the 9-0 is a little bit of goal difference and people like you banging on about it.
  13. Damn you are all negative, I'm going 13th.
  14. I imagine he doesn't want to overplay Perraud but doesn't have anyone else to rotate.
  15. I knew we'd sync up eventually 😉
  16. Youtube with a VPN I got "urban-vpn.com"
  17. Djenepo aint a leftback. That's on him tbh, Bednarek had to get a touch so don't blame him.
  18. KWP got the winner last game, it's a very strong position for us right now it seems. Should be an excellent battle this season.
  19. Tino looks incredible. Been on the pitch a few minutes, made a goal, great ball to oba which should have been two, some slick skills. Love this guy.
  20. Would you describe it as "insane"?
  21. Not Valery's fault that one, Armstrong can't give the ball away there. Good finish but I still feel a keeper shouldn't be done at his near post from that angle.
  22. 1-0 Bilboa. Corner, Long outjumped at the near post.
  23. Edited this, they also have one called Nico Williams, who is actually playing whereas the other chap is on the bench.
  24. One of their players is called Nico Williams too. They are talking about him I think.
  25. Some pretty relaxing ocean sounds though
