  1. The thing you are saying has nothing to do with that though, we can be a family that has rivalries and jokes but come together in times of hardship, like with Everton and Liverpool after Hillsborough. Seems like most of your cynicism arises from the fact you take people saying we will get relegated or deriding us in comparison with our rivals as super serious business.
  2. This is one of the most stupid posts I've ever read. Making fun of England, sporting rivalries, or a club being potentially relegated isn't the same as making fun of the death of a 28 year old man days after his body was discovered. Get some perspective. Football banter is football banter but if you don't see any difference between those two things you need to take a look at yourself. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  3. Nah bruv, we'll have another go soon, neoliberal centerism is dying, the left is returning. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  4. I agree, capitalism is the worst. If only there were some way for the underpaid and underappritiated workers to unite towards a common goal of a non-atomised system wherein they own and control the means of production and have autonomy over the direction of their lives, free of vapid consumption. 5. The problem was PEH should have been in that position with a better creative attacking midfielder further forward. Armstrong would have been good, or redmond there with Ings and long/austin/Gallagher upfront. But we don't at the moment have the depth to pull the formation off as we need basically every talented attacking player (and one average player next to ings) fit or we can't make it work. If we have to play a **** player or a defensive player in an attacking role then we might as well just be playing with an extra cb. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  6. That is an incredibly weak bench. Very worrying, nice to see Bertrand back though.
  7. Wonder what Valery has done to be dropped, very worrying. Maybe that's why we didn't bring in a right back in the window as we intend to do a 4231 with stephens Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  8. Would be interested to see a 433. Mccarthy Valery Bednarek Vestergaard Targett JWP Romeu Hoj Ings Austin Redmond I would like to see ings and Austin play together, I think that it could work with JWP and Hoj stepping up creatively. Also with 3 midfielders and JWP being more convincing defensively we don't need 3 at the back, especially as Stephens has looked poor recently. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  9. Why would you drop Ings for Long? He is much less prolific. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  10. I suppose Charlie Austin staying kills all chance of bringing a new forward in, which is a shame as part of me was still really hyped at the prospect of JKA despite how unlikely it was. Still, a decent new rightback and it won't have been that bad a window.
  11. I may gain a reputation as being too optimistic in this thread, but is it possible that we have leaked our interest in this Norwegian bloke as Gent are dragging their heals as they think we are desperate. We always assume we are being used to leverage deals on this forum (eg. Maddison) but people rarely discuss the idea we might do it back. Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
  12. They might dip the price to 15-20m if it helps them reinforce on deadline day. Certainly worth it for a bench player for them.
  13. Lookman back to the bench for Everton, maybe wishful thinking but maybe something could be on the cards.
