Make your mind up mate.
-
It is perfectly allowed, our manager had two really bad games in the last couple of seasons. It would be nice if it wasn't all they talked about but they have to cover a lot of teams, you can't expect that diverse a set of talking points. You on the otherhand are a fan and presumably watched the other 80 odd games we played in that timeframe and have more to say than just "wow, do you remember those times we lost 9-0" ad nausium. You don't for the same reason you bum pompey and think we are worse set up than san marino: you are either a troll, a skate, or an idiot. My money is on both 1 and 3 but I won't rule out 2.
-
What does that even mean? We lost two freak games in two seasons, that means we are worse set up defensively than a team that concedes on average about 5 goals a game. Alright then.
-
The commentators mention it all the time for the same reason they say "James Ward-Prowse range" and "Liverpool bought a lot of saints players" a lot. They are lazy and don't have much material on us. You are supposedly one of our fans, why are you whining about it constantly in unrelated threads?
-
Yeah, they are shit, no where near the quality of a league one side let alone a premier league side. You saying they are better than saints at literally anything is about as mental as you saying pompey have better long term prospects than saints. The ramblings of an absolute madman.
-
They'll say anything to slag off saints. Expect the "but we lost 9-0" thing to be repeated for years regardless of how well we are doing.
-
They got done 9-0 by Russia about a year and a half ago, and have been done 9-0 by Belgium since. They are absolutely a team that does concede 9. Just because they didn't today doesn't mean they are better than us.
-
Am I actually reading that San Marino are better set up defensively than saints?! We have 9 clean sheets this season and San Marino have kept five clean sheets in their 30 year history. The only three clean sheets they have in the last seventeen years were against Gibraltar, Estonia and Lichtenstein.
-
Looks like he will be in a 2 in a 4231 as well which should benefit him, or a three man midfield with Mount and Phillips.
-
Not sure what you mean by this, he got his chance and got a red and a three game suspension. He is clearly talented but he squandered a chance big time. I'm sure he will get more. Regarding Stephens, maybe Ralph didn't want to throw Jankewitz in at the deep end given what happened at united so didn't pick him for what was expected to be a very tricky game against City. Just because Stephens played one game at cm doesn't mean jankewitz is definitely behind him.
-
Good game for Jankewitz, looked very handy. Definitely someone I hope gets a chance going forward.
-
Excellent, cheers for that

Are you watching? Is there a stream somewhere?

I'm perfectly happy to continue the argument, just not on this thread.
-
I should have been more clear, Turkish I'm not replying to your alt either, or weird mate. This guy, if he is another guy, is also welcome to DM me. Since you haven't yet I'll assume you were only trying to have this argument performatively. If there is sufficient interest in discussing why "Chinaman" is considered a slur and why criticising people for being against the usage of slurs is, in of itself racist, then we can start a thread on one of the other, non-football related boards. I am happy to join you there and chat to your hearts content. But this is a thread about the football game between Leicester City and Southampton, not a place for you to try and start squabbles about things completely unrelated.
-
Japan won 3-0 but Taki not amongst the goals or assists, played 86 minutes.

Take that as a no then. If you can convince me that your original comment was not racist then I will be more than happy to issue a public apology, I'll even make it it's own thread. But I'm not going to have that conversation on this thread as, I hate to break it to you, no one else gives a shit. This will be my last post about your nonsense on this thread. If you wanna try and garner an apology or have any interest in actually discussing this, come do it in DM and stop wasting everyone elses time, if not just don't bother. I'm sure someone else will take your bait eventually.
-
Sent you a DM, this is a really boring topic for a football forum but am still personally interested in discussing it. If you are interested feel free to reply, if you do things like this just to troll and get reactions and therefore don't care about the actual discussion feel free to ignore it.

Well since we are judging our owners investment vs others in the league with netspend then our netspend this season alone could buy the entire pompey squad, their netspend on the other hand wouldn't buy one of Walker-Peters' toes.
-
Where? We don't spend significantly on players but we do clearly spend a bit and that's not to mention investment in youth team and facilities. For instance we spent more on Jankewitz than pompey have on any player in their team. Do you have evidence Gao gives literally 0 money to any aspect of southampton football club?
-
That's strange, I could have swore I saw it in your post alongside a condemnation of people who criticised it's use. Maybe it was a mirage. Anyway I have no interest in arguing with you about this. It doesn't interest me in the slightest whether you are a racist or not. Just a shame as I would otherwise have agreed with your opinion. Either way, yes we are funded less than West Ham and Newcastle who have whiney entitled fans, no we are not funded worse than pompey who are struggling in league 1, yes we should return to the topic of the cup semi-final and away from SKD and Turkish who seem to say things purely to provoke a reaction.
-
Do you have a source for this?
-
Well Chinaman is an outdated and offensive term as defined by the OED and various other dictionaries. Confusing why you continue to use it when you know others consider it a slur, including the countries most highly regarded dictionary.
-
Gao is bad for a premier league owner, has invested relegation quantity money for us for years, much less than West Ham and Newcastle. "That disney fella" is bad for a league one owner, has invested next to nothing in the grand scheme of things and they are stuck in league one. If you added up all the money Eisner has invested in pompey it wouldn't be able to afford a back up left back in this league, it's all about scales. Gao doesn't invest enough to let us make £40m signings like Newcastle and West Ham but we do spend a hell of a lot more than anyone down in league one.
