  1. If it came down to it, is he eligible to play for the first team this year? Or not?
  2. Hey guys, first time poster! I must say I am happy with the clubs transfer window, because I feel as though now we have a very clear best XI and second XI, with many youngsters waiting in the wings for an opportunity. That opportunity is no more than an injury away. McCarthy--Gunn Bertrand--Vokins Bednarek--Vestergaard Stephens--Danso Walker-Peters--Valery Hojberg--Romeu Ward-Prowse--Smallbone Redmond--Boufal Armstrong--Djenepo Ings--Adams Long--Obafemi Also good is that many of this core are young and still have more development left in them. I see the XI this week being the first XI with Djenepo and Valery coming in for Armstrong and Walker-Peters who are unavailable. Exciting times in my opinion! Will also add we need to only play Danso at CB because that is his position.
  3. Yes Redzy!

    Is Flannigan still injured?
  5. Hi guys! Long time lurker, first time poster! I must say I like Hasenhuttl's comments about keeping a small squad of 18-20 players and then the rest youth players. There is currently a list of about 10 players at the club I wouldn't be too fussed if they left, we have: Barnes, Elyounoussi, Flannigan, Forster, Gallagher, Austin, Hesketh, McQueen, Rose and Seager. I think if we can remove these players to trim the fat so to speak, we can bring in that Maehle right back, and also try and bring in a creative midfielder, or potentially a striker. I wouldn't have minded keeping Austin however he appears on his way out. Leaves us with a good solid squad of 18, with a whole bunch of exciting youth players coming through the ranks. Very good times to be a Saints fan!
