Being there tonight and witnessing the incompetence on the pitch, and the toxicity off it, this was 💯 inevitable. I’m actually glad the blood-letting was swift. Better for RM and the club. It’s a sad end, and he has much to be commended for (for last season) but he’s been his own worst enemy this season - a few tweaks and we may have had 5-6 extra points which may have saved him.
I have more optimism than I had a few hours ago - not about staying up of course, that ship has sailed - but the kicker is that any future improvement in our fortunes depends on SR making the right appointment. And that is whole other kettle of fish…
