We regularly used to have the lowest attendance in the Premier League. At one point we could only accomodate 15k, and we survived then.

Gillett, Schneiderlin and Dyer for me were particularly noticable in their lack of involvement. Doesn't make them bad players though, as has been proven in other games this season. We were unlucky not to score in the first half, and bloody lucky that Blackpool were kind enough to illegally put the ball in the back of the net three times! Disappointing, but certainly not disastrous. I won't be losing sleep over today, that's for sure.

It's hardly like you need to worry about it, is it!?

Aww, look at the bickering. It must be love. ;-)

C'mon then, what actually happened? Can't be arsed to click the link, whether it's safe or not!

Blackpool H - Win QPR A - Lose Ipswich H - Draw Barnsley H - Win Doncaster A - Win Norwich H - Draw 11/18. That'll do me.

Friday - Quiet night in Saturday - Working all day (though I am having a two hour lunch break to pop to Varsity to watch the game), then possibly going to a BBQ in the evening. Sunday - As yet unplanned, probably involve getting stuff ready for holiday. -
I'm gonna assume then that this is what closed the M1 southbound yesterday early evening - hubby was working in Derby and got diverted due to an accident on the motorway. Condolences to the family and friends of the driver. RIP.

Maybe not so sensational after all... Mick and Jack's injuries might not be too serious, but the Echo report says that the driver of the vehicle died...
-
Jeez, not nice at all. Glad to hear it's not serious. Hope it's a quick recovery, and that Jack is OK too.

Usual request, anywhere away that we've not been to before. One does wonder, seeing as Ben's mentioned it - if we did get the Skates at home, would we actually fill SMS? Interesting bearing in mind today's discussions about low attendances/ stay away fans...

'morro night. Nice work again boys, sounded like we managed to maintain our performance second half too, encouraging to hear. As I said elsewhere, it's still early days as to whether JP and "total football" are going to work in the long run, but the short term signs are certainly looking positive - I'm certainly a lot more optimistic than I was when Pearson was booted and our Dutch duo were installed.

Just announced on Radio Hampshire approx 3k walk up tonight, 11,300ish in attendance. Not bad at all considering some of those others from the first round.
-
Surely, surely that has a digit missing? 1500 for a first team cup game!? I had prior commitments tonight, which last season I would've moved to go to the game. This season however, I'm being a bit cautious with how things are going at the club, hence the no go. I have to say though (and it is very early days, mind you) after my initial doubts things are looking hopeful, let's hope it's maintained, and I can enjoy going to SMS again.

Buy mine. HTH.

We're also on the lookout for parking info. We've got Gold Grandstand tickets (La Source/Pole Position ) so don't need to worry too much about timing. Actually, saying that, our flight arrives in Brussels at 09:10 on Friday, so we're gonna be a bit pushed to make the start of 1st practice at 10:00! Other than that we're all OK though. Actually, just been looking at the parking details... http://www.spafrancorchamps.be/route_eng.asp

Nice circuit. lol @ Kimi - again. Grr @ the Ferrari/Massa pit incident - yet again Ferrari get away with it. They may as well not have bothered fining Massa, drop in the ocean springs to mind. Do we know how the Ferrari mechanic is after Kimi decided to put his foot down a tad early? Me thinks Ferrari need a little rethink about their pit release system - I know, nothing has happened before, but as Arizona said, it could've been much more serious.

Thursday: Finished work early, good mooch around Cov Ikea, decent hotel in Derby. Friday: Successful shopping trip, nice meal out. Saturday: Lovely weather, successful day at footy, was going to come home Sat night but enjoyed the little break so much spent an extra night away. Sunday: Back home, nice afternoon at Royal Victoria Country Park. Today: Lovely long lie in, bit of useful stuff around the house, out for a meal with friends tonight. Verdict: 9.73629/10 -
As long as Pompey lose, I couldn't give a toss.

I'M GOING!!!!! (Sorry, completely unhelpful, I know, but just had the urge to say it.)

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on which way you look at it!) I'm not his boss - he works in t'other part of the business, which isn't my responsibility.

Went there a couple of years ago, and I've just driven past it this evening, you're certainly right on the staggering front!

Coolio. I have tickets for one of the NIA gigs in October, really looking forward to it.
