Michelle replied to saint_stevo's topic in The Muppet Show
Friday: Drive to Docklands. First time driving through Central London since passing test. Was scary. No food at hotel, so ended up eating some sandwiches we took with us. Exciting. Saturday: Up early for brekkie and tube to London Bridge. Met bungle, stevegrant and co in pub. Drunk lots across 3/4 different pubs, got train to Charlton. Left hubby at London Bridge station as he had the wrong ticket. Ended up waiting for him in the rain outisde The Valley as I had his match ticket - d'oh. Watched game, went to London Saints do in the evening. Drunk more, ate sandwiches, met Saints players, won a raffle prize. Got ferry to o2 Arena for dinner and more drink, not quite sure how/when got back to hotel. Result. Sunday: No hangover - huzzah. Brekkie, check out, went to Ikea then Lakeside and Bluewater for shopping. Drove home in ****ing rain. Entertainment rating: 8/10 Shopping rating: 3/10 Weather rating: 1/10 Overall 7.869/10 -

Will Saints be reducing store prices with the VAT cut as of Monday?
Michelle replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
They should, as it has to be done. Our shop has got 4,000 or so product lines in branch, and they're preparing for it all as we speak. Thank goodness we in the Post Office don't have to worry about any of it! -
Question to those loyal that bleed red & white
Michelle replied to thefuriousb's topic in The Saints
So what you're effectively saying is that people who don't go to home games aren't loyal? So those that can't afford it, those that live thousands of miles away, those that have work commitments preventing them from attending games, they're not loyal fans? Insane. -
Just got tickets. Woohoo. I missed the Preston and Reading wins, so fingers crossed for a decent result on Saturday. London Bridge, here I come.
-
But it's still fun to laugh about it in the meantime!

Heard about this briefly on the radio this morning. Not good at all. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Michelle replied to scott_saints's topic in The Muppet Show
Tonight: Chinese in, bit of tellehbox, not much else. Saturday: Very begrudgingly working 9:00 - 5:30, therefore missing Reading. Meh. Out in Guildford in the evening for a gig. Sunday: Hopefully not much. -
Fingers crossed then - I certainly hope that what I was told isn't true. You just never know what to believe with this bloody club these days anyway!

Interesting, as someone I know very well who spoke to JP personally a couple of weeks back was told that by him that Lallana was definitely off in January.

An early "who is going to the Plymouth game" thread?
Michelle replied to RoswellSaint's topic in The Saints
I thought you were talking about Plymouth away when I first saw this. Meh. I will be at Home Park, and I may be at SMS, subject to offer of a ticket. -
Sounds about right to me. Good move by the club. As long as it's not a regular occurence, and therefore proving to be better value than a season ticket (which is a highly unlikely situation), I really don't see a problem with the occasional offer. It would be incredibly anal of any season ticket holder to have an issue with a discount of a whole £1.52 as a one off. Hardly gonna break the bank, is it?

'Tis brilliant. I've had mine for about 6 months now, does everything I want it to and more.
-
Err, Mister Super Mod, why the heck is this in the Motoring Forum? Please infract yourself for your stupidity. Ta.
-
No, no and thrice no. That is the second best moment of the coverage from that day.
-
Oh my God. What the feck were they thinking? Bet it's a beggar drying off after it rains.
-
That video is bloody brilliant. So much emotion and excitement. Just brilliant.

Agree with the last two posts. We moved our sofa around ages ago and my laptop was leaning against it, it dropped and ballsed the screen up. Claimed on home insurance, and within 10 days I had a nice new washing machine, tumble dryer and laptop. Result.

You rocked up at the Royal Oak midway through the second half, I know that much. I'm pretty sure you left there before the end of the game too.

I had a turkey and stuffing sandwich for lunch today. Yum.
