christmas at the danish mother in laws (not in Denmark) - Roast duck, red cabbage, caramel potatoes followed by very, very thick rice pudding with hot cherry sauce. Followed by turkey at mine the following day. Then collapse in a bloated mass on the sofa and hope I can move enough in the morning to drive down to St Mary's. After the footie off to a mates for more delicious food and lots of drink to celebrate 3 points for Saints and Brentford (mates team)

The best place to watch Saints v Pompey in South West London?
Saint Luke replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
At home - not showing the people in the pub that you are a pig headed thug - which it seems a lot of us turn into when we play that lot down the road. The last time at St Mary's was particularly vitriolic. -
Do you really believe we will be promoted this season,Yes or No ?
Saint Luke replied to bjk's topic in The Saints
January is key and our current position and style of football should make us a more attractive place for some of the better players to come to. -

Crystal Palace at home Boxing Day selling out fast!
Saint Luke replied to BTW Saint's topic in The Saints
Just got two in Block 3. My sons first under his own customer number and it's a pain that he is now 11 as it makes him more expensive - have to get him to start contributing. Never been on that side before - hope all the block 1-3 people sing lots. -
If Huddersfield don't get promoted this year they have to sell all their talent as the money runs out - or so I have heard. So Jordan Rhodes may well be sold in teh summer, but can't see them letting him go in January - or does his contract run out?

When Ikea first came to the UK the quality was good. I have some from about 20 years ago which has moved house 3 times with me and they are still working perfectly. The quality at Ikea has dropped dramtically in the last 10 years and I won't buy it anymore. I actually work in the furniture industry (much higher end thank god) and I can guess how cheap their stuff is. The main trick with wardrobes and hanging doors is making sure the unit is level and square - haven't read whole thread so if already stated sorry. If unit is level and square and solid then witht he adjustment in the hinges it should be posible to get the doors hanging level and even.

Proof that we don't need to fill SMS to expand...
Saint Luke replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Where have you been? This has been discussed so many times and it's common knowledge that 2 (?) of the stands are capable of being expanded. -
Not just me then.

Anyone else got issues with the Saints website today?

Palace made 7 changes when we made 10 so Daino76 don't get ahead of yourself. If we continue to perform at home like we have been with Lallana on the pitch then we should be favourites to win all home games, but even favourites lose sometimes. 20 points would be a good return, anything over and I'll be happy. Anything close to 25 and I'll be ecstatic. Anything close to 30 and I'll pass out.

DG, I'm with you. Wake up to Planet Rock every morning. 5 live for the car as I don't have a digi in the motor

I'm very happy as predicted 1-1 and am now top of the prediction league, but I must say I would rather we had won and I wasn't. as many people say, it's great to be a saints fan at the moment, unless of course you are 'that' troll!!

When we lost to Manure and were relegated the ticket was £38.00! Therefore I see tickets of £40 easy - of course it depends on what the owners want to do.

I too had a bad feeling about today and had us down for a 2-1 defeat on the prediction league. Then i watched some of Brum on Thursday and heard all the comments about how hard they had tried. Changed my score to 4-2 win - only score know one else had gone for. Was glad they did not get the 2nd.

He might have scored at Brentford, but I was sitting in the home stand behind the dug out and they were constantly talking to him to tell him what to do, he looked absolutely lost. Connolly was asking for him to be taken off. He may well improve but I think at the moment, League 1 is his standard.

Who was your favourite foreign Saints player? (current players don't count)
Saint Luke replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Monkou turned out for Chelsea in the London Lgends the other week. Still looks big and scary. Always had a soft spot for Ivan Golac but Niemi probably gets my vote. -
Wife and 2 kids. 16 year old girl - pretty independent and 10 year old boy, takes up loads of my time. Massively into cricket, wicket keeper for his under 11 team. He wants to be a cricket pro - even over football. He's a big Saint though. Feel for Saint Lard, would die without my kids. Also got an allotment - pottering time.

Of course the other option is to print to pdf and then compile in windows explorer Open explorer, find your files and then right click. Should be an option called - Combine supported files in acrobat. This may be because I have the full Adobe acrobat suite - not sure.

We went down to the pitch a couple of minutes after the main rush and some Steward asked myself and my 10 year old son to 'stay behind the line please' to which I politely (seriously) pointed at the 5000 other fans on the pitch and said - come on mate, at least let him touch the pitch - at which point he gave in. At least he can say he tried to stop us.
