  1. Was on SF always under the same name, but never a major poster. Read a lot, post a little
  2. Hugo - Very good Moonrise Kingdom - Quirky but fun
  3. 4 premiership clubs are looking at Forrester according to a Brentford mate of mine. Watched him play for Brentford the other week. Best player on the pitch.
  4. I'm middle class, live in Surrey now, grew up in Winchester, was born in St Bartholomews in London (makes me a cockney - but don't talk like it) Where do I fit in? I also don't have money each week to go to a footie match or the time what with traipsing my son around to play football at the weekends
  5. Un Lun Dun by China Mievelle
  6. I respect you for this as members of my family have suffered and I do know how hard it can be to admit that to others that there is a problem. Society needs to be more mindful of the effects of mental health. Unfortunately those who believe that you just need to 'pull yourself together' are greatly misinformed.
  7. Whispers Underground
  8. My sister probably went to that!!
  9. Has taken me 4 years to get my right footed son to kick with his left foot with confidence. It comes with practice. They need to go for the 'weaker' foot instinctively - if thye have to think about it then they're not quite there yet. My son still has some way to go but has scored 2 goals this season with his left foot - and not just tap ins.
  10. Can we then go Adidas - the kits are soo much nicer
  11. Loved Farscape. The issue of ships being alive was in a series of books I now can't remember the titles of - int he books the captain was psychologically bonded to the ship - I'm sure some of you people will come up with the titles. Always liked the on off thing between Crichton and Aeryn. Firefly one of my favourites and a travesty it was canned. Great characters. Kaylee!
  12. Milton Keynes one is good, although I only went toboganning so can't speak for the ski experience. Hemel Hemsptead also has one - pretty crappy to look at on the outside though.
  13. Unless I've missed it can't believe no one has said that slime ball Ashley Cole. Arrogant piece of sh#t
  14. Never thought I had anything opther than middle Englan until I moved up to London in 1982 and the locals all thought we were coutry bumpkins. Pretty sure any Hampshire twang has gone now as I have lived in London ever since.
  15. Mentioned int he match preview on the BBC sport website.
  16. A reasonable response - which I agree with - we're in the wrong place and will no doubt we lambasted on here.
  17. Went on holiday to Brittany and stayed in a group of gites owned and run by a skate. He was a top chap. Lived out there for 8 years. Also ran a bar in the village and put the Man City on in his bar for me - even made the right noises when we scored and lost.
  18. I don't like it. Have tried it for a few days and still don't like it. But then that's me. Some will ike it, some won't
  19. I think it's all abit hit and miss. Little league football - Juniors - turn up and play, no training. Your manager can be a person with coaching experience or not. Last year started with a manager who wanted to teach the kids how to play football. Very competitive but hard on the kids. Started training pre-season. He fell out with the organisers and left. New manager a parent who just wanted the kids to have fun. 2 very different approaches that can have very different effects. The first one put the kids off but his coaching did have some effect. The second one the kids liked but their game fell away. This season up to seniors in little league and 9 a side. Also joined an under 11 Sunday team which has mid-week coaching so hopefully that will improve their game and teach them something.
  20. Designer for a furniture company - contract not domestic. Been doing it for years same problem as aintforever. Often thought about giving something back to society but commitments to family and the mortgage preclude this at the moment.
  21. The new Rotherham ground was quoted at £20 million this morning on Sky. It looks a fair bit like ours from the outside and has a capacity of about 12,000 so more expensive than ours per 1000 but probably not when taking infaltion into account.
  22. New Malden - must be near Tokyo Saint
  23. So did I in Belmont Avenue but now in Windsor Avenue new Woodies
  24. Driving down from New Malden that morning.
  25. Thank god for the alternative number - block 3
