I saw him at the Albert Hall some time in the 90's. There is a DVD of an ELP gig in 1993 so it might have been that. I'll have to check my ticket stubs. First single (record) I ever bought was Fanfare for the common man - must have been at the time of the Montreal Olympics or soon after - it was the main theme for those olympics. Seems he suffered depression, was worried about how he would perform on a tour after suffering problems with his hand. Sad!

Not quite so far away but hired a Gite in Brittany. Turned up to find out the owner - who lived on site - was a Pompey fan. He had a little bar by the pool with a Pompey flag in it. He ran the bar in the village as well. A very nice man. This was the year we played Man City away on our first game back in the prem in 2012 and he put it on in his bar just for me.

If that's what happens when I predict we will lose 6-0 in the prediction league - yes it was me - then I'll do that every week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been in January (beautiful winter blue sky) and May (blue skies again) and no crowds both times. Got around on the river bus - get a 3 day pass if they still exist. Echo the Murano recommendation and just wander around finding little piazza's etc.

Interstellar original soundtrack. If you're a fan of the film then it's a must. It will take you back to the film. Very uplifting in parts. Illuminated edition the one with most on it but expensive. Seems even soundtracks even get the 'different' version treatment now.

Are you telling me that just VW were doing this - a bit like the banks, if 1 is doing it then it is quite likely that others are too.

The new album is a grower. I've listened to it a fair bit over the last few days and each time I like it a bit more. The jazz track is just a chance for Dave to show off his saxophone skills (if he's playing it) The opening track is pure PF I bought the deluxe edition but haven't watched the Blu Ray yet so can't comment on that.

I've got this although I must say on CD not Vinyl - even though I do have the technology to play vinyl. It's really rather good too - in my opinion.

Saw him at a special BBC do in London when he was doing promotion for On An Island. Rick Wright in his band too. He was very good - of course.

Saw them at Wembley Arena in about 1981-2

This one - every time I think of that game it sends shivers down my spine. I think we must have missed a chance in the 2nd half the whole ground went silent only for a huge roar to grow urging the players on. Also Beatts against Manure for 1-0 at St Mary's

Got our 2 moggys from Battersea Cats and Dogs home. Think you have to wait until they are 6-8 weeks old so they are weened. Ours were also already house trained. Now 2 lovely grown adult cats.

Personally I felt that Nick Clegg is more credible then Ed Milliband. But that's my view. Vince Cable would have been the more statesman choice.

One must ask 'would the Liberal Democrats vote have collapsed so alarmingly if they had spent the last 5 years in bed with Labour instead of the Tories?' Onbiovuly very hard to say as we don't know what of their policies they would have had to forego on agreeing to backing Labour. I voted LD previously and did so this time - although Ed Davey lost - and I am pretty ******ed off that he did. He was a good constituency MP and Environment Secretary. We now have Tories in Kingston something the LD canvassers were warning about. You do feel that if Labour had a more credible figure head then more of the LD vote would have gone their way. The Lib Dems will take a long time to recover from this if they ever do. I wonder how the Lib Dem voters ever thought they would get into power without going into a coalition - I always assumed this would be the case as I never saw them as a 326 seat party. The Scottish people have just told those of us south of the border to go away. There will be a new cry for a referrendum on independence up north soon. I'll stop now. Just kind of repeating what others are saying.

Not because he passed away but I am reading Rasing Steam by Terry Pratchett. Another tale in the life of Moist Von Lipwig. One of Pratchett's best ever characters and one he created a long time into his telling of the tales of the Discworld. Not as good as the other MvL tales but still very readable. Pratchett will be a big loss to those of us who read his book - which is many - so RIP Sir Terry.

I got a Skoda Octavia and had one before that - I think they're great. Both estates. I do remember Jasper Carrot but still not put off. My current one is rediculously good.

The issue with the Northam choir not reaching the Itchen/Northam corner is one of direction not necessarily volume. I prefer to sit in the Kingsland near the Northam for the very reason you hear them and get to join in. As for number of songs I think I'm referring to unique songs. OWTS is ours - can't stand other clubs using it - Spuds especially. Our other songs tend to be the standard blueprint for lots of clubs. At one point both sets of fans were singing the RK/AP red and white/blue army and you couldn't tell which one came over best where we were. I remember the Saints Norwich game the year we got relegated from the Premiership - now that was one rocking day and the whole stadium seemed to join in that day

They don't look in a good place and having sold Bony could potentially have sold Gomis as well - well we can hope Personally I think they are going through a 'difficult' period so may help us with our injury list.
