  1. My mate who is a Brentford fan is very pessimistic about their chances - I'll be in the home end with him and few mates who are also Brentford fans and 1 other Saint. I might have to sit on my hands.
  2. This has led me to revise my score in the prediction league to a dissapointing 1-1 draw. Of course I will be ecstatic if we win by the original 3-0 that I had predicted.
  3. He was definitely offside for the goal. I was in block 34 row G and he was goalside of the defender before the ball was played, when the ball was played and after the ball was played. Not by much, but by enough. I'm sure that he will learn.
  4. I was watching him on the goal that was diasallowed and he was definitely offside by about half a yard. It looked like he steps behind the defender so he can see what's happening - derrrr! I didn't celebrate the goal cos I knew that as soon as I looked over to the lino that his flag would be up and it was. His other glaring one was also int eh first half, ball pinged over from the other side and he was miles off. Pards and the gang need to work on the with him so that he can sort it out.
  5. Radio 5 live is fine but not enough sport
  6. Take him, mine was 6 when he went the first time. Sit on the end of a row by the gangway just in case you have to keep getting up.
  7. I've always thought we should kick to the Northam 2nd Half. Surely someone is ITK regarding this decision.
  8. On BBC website
  9. Most presenters talk rubbish on Talksport. They now have Mark saggers doing some shows and you can tell he's a 'proper' broadcaster when he comes on. Unfortunately if you want to hear sports talk it's the only station. Oh for the days when Radio 5 was pure sport.
  10. You have to let the kids in so that they can grow up to be future Northamers rather than plastic Mancs or china Chelski's
  11. Not quite sure about cutting a year off our recovery time. It all depends on who we get in to replace him and what players we can bring in. But good luck to Mr Wotte. I wish him well.
  12. He'll want better than League 1
  13. Thank God. Maybe Roger will become a Saints fan!
  14. You wish
  15. The question is - what do you intend to do about it? As you can do nothing - it begs the question - why keep on going on about it? Yes it's bloody infuriating and it affects productivity at work but we just have to wait and hope.
  16. I think we should all shake his hand and say thank you. As has been said by others he could easily have walked. I do think that if anyone buys us (that's if) then they will probably replace him.
  17. Got loads of spuds, need to dig the first lot up and store in a dark place. Another lot ready in about 4-6 weeks. Corugettes ready in about a week and then that's all we'll eat with potatoes for quite a while. Onions in September/October. Tomatoes in about 3 weeks. Cabbages, carrots and french beans coming along nicely. Hopeful of Garlic but it failed last year. Will have winter potatoes to put in later in the year.
  18. I think I'd buy it. Sent it around for comment from other mates, see what they think. I agree about the Forest fan. Wait till you come back down next year fella!
  19. The post reminds me of the sitcom - SOAP Very amusing. But if anyone can answer these questions truthfully it would be greatly appreciated.
  20. I saw BJH at the Gaumont in the early 80's twice. Turn of the Tide and Time Honoured Ghost tours I think. Seems alon time ago now. Personally prefer BJH, although think Days of Future Passed is a classic album.
  21. Prince Charles
  22. Having dropped my memebership this year due to family constraints, but going on Saturday with my boy, I now wish I hadn't. I will try to get a ticket for teh Manure game, but if I can't then so be it, I'll just have to watch it on Setanta
  23. Anyone who has Virgin Media XL package gets Setanta free - so me, but I hope I'll be there.
  24. People may be saying that we are not playing premiership temas - but what we must remember is that we are far from a premiership team ourselves. As always with Saints, nothing is simple, nothing is taken for granted except that we will be woefully inconsistent and that the team will put the supporters through the wringer.
