The Strawbs

And I think I heard that there will be a second series. I agree that it seems the part is his completely - I wonder if they wrote it with him in mind especially as he is one of the (many) producers.

Just watched Ludwig with David Mitchell. Not a comedy. it's a crime drama. Unfortunately only 6 episodes long and I enjoyed it lot. Set up for a second series which it will hopefully get as it's not Netflix. it's on iplayer.

I'm reading The 4 Pillar Plan by Dr Rangan Chatterjee and it is enlightening. I would recommend it to everyone - he is not linked to any corporations so is not selling anything. I am starting to take some of this on board but do already meet some of the steps in each of the 4 pillars.

Love a bit of Whitesnake. Seen them a few times - first time in the 80's with the Cozy Powell 633 Squadron drum solo. Lost my eyebrows to the flap throwers!! He's also worth listing to on the Rockonteurs podcasts run by Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt - DC has been on 3 times - always very entertaining

I thought it was excellent - I can live with the variations to the source work but feel your comment about it being changed to helping leading in to the next film a little spurious - surely the books lead on - although there may be a gap between Dune and Dune Messiah - can't remember even though I only read the trilogy last year. This is not a go by the way

I think I was there with my Ipswich supporting mate.

My first game in over two years so I hope that we win and it's entertaining - from our side of course.

The Lazarus Project - have watched both series over the last month - Loved it. All the light we cannot see - 4 episode mini series based on a book. I enjoyed this a lot. Two very different viewing experiences there.

All of Marillion since Seasons End on as I went to see them at the Roundhouse on Sunday and they were awesome - yet again.

Supposedly exciting stuff that just doesn't excite you

When people say that you must watch this or that series as it's the best thing since sliced bread - such as Breaking bad. I try not to do this about things I like. -
I have a Cupra Born with a 58Kw battery and V3 spec. Quoted range 240 miles. You can get the 78Kw but you lose a seat in the back - this has a quoted range of around 340 miles I think. Pottering around you can get that and sometimes more - after one charge it told me the range was 290 miles - no heating or AC on. Any motorway driving and then no. Most I've got was 200 on a motorway drive and probably not going over 65. It's a great car, lots of toys, nice to drive - but £41K - over priced (company car - saves me lots of money over the previous Golf GTE which was a hybrid) My boss has a Polestar -2 years old and that always says he gets 250 miles on a charge. If you have to do a lot of mileage EV's are not for you. If mainly short journeys then they are good. Of course - whether they are really as good for the planet as they say is another matter. The damage from getting the lithium for the batteries, the eventual hit taht will come when all these EVs batteries reach the end of their life, how the electricity is generated etc etc. I am all for alternative fuels but do wonder if EV is the answer and not something else (hydrogen)

Revisiting a guy called John Wesley. If Spotify is good for one thin it is that you can catch up on artists you used to listen to and then find out they have released a load of albums since you last listened to them.

The books are excellent. The Silo series is half of the first book (of the trilogy) As usual they have made changes to the story but have stuck to a lot of it. I'm on the third book - I recommend them to Sci Fi readers.

I would say that I don’t enjoy my job - where I am now. I have been here for nigh on 24 years so maybe a tad stale. I am in a senior position earn good money but it’s not what keeps me going. Pressure get’s to me at times. I have not eat out really as mortgage runs until retirement age not that it’s that big but means I need to earn a certain amount which going and doing a more rewarding but lower paid job won’t cover. Also at my age - 58 - getting a new job ain’t that easy and I also work in quite a niche market - contract furniture design which is quite incestuous - every one knows everyone else - my boss would find out I was looking.

I’ve just gone on holiday and taken all 3 with me. Looking forward to finding out what happens next.

Hollie Kenniff Music to go to sleep to.

I have a Pizza oven for the BBQ and it's great. The Pizzas actually come out looking like real pizzas. They also cook very quickly.

The Big Drop Citrus is very tasty.

A friend of mine went tee total when he got ill. He then went on a mission to find the best alcohol or low alcohol (less than 05%) beer and to tell the truth the German ones are in my opinion the best. Really only available in bottles/cans - not seem them on draught. Clausthaler is very good.

I've been watching SEE with Jason Momoa - not well into Season 3. Interesting premise. A bit slow at the beginning but picks up. Dystopian future thing which I like. Reminds me a lot of Revolution which unfortunately got canned after 2 seasons.

Closing it down would be a quick way to lose £44 billion or what ever it was he paid for it - can't imagine he is going to do that. I'd go with the new CEO scenario. Who is going to want to work for him now though?

In response to the original post - No.

Definitely a Bond villain. Does he own a white fluffy cat?
