  1. Josh Sim’s scored the winner for Ross County v Rangers today. Ross County’s first ever win over Rangers in their history. 👏 👏 👏
  2. If we go up I think RM will stay, and I think if we do not he might leave anyway to manage in the premier league. Nothing in football surprises me and the way he sets up to play is the correct way and how the majority play in the premier league, so he will get noticed, and if he has the top flight players he will probably do ok.
  3. I still cannot see it coming down to that game. Maybe Leeds up, maybe Leeds in the playoffs already, with us. We will screw something up as we have tried in the last 2 home games from 2-0 up, but to be fair we managed to win, unlike all the others up there who are getting the jitters. Cannot see us winning at Leicester and Leeds, but you never know do ya
  4. I never thought I would see even more miserable people on a forum than in here. Jeez get over to Leeds, Leicester and Ipswich… ha ha Saying this the top 6 are pretty poor, with only us and Norwich winning. The playoffs you might as well toss a coin. 🪙
  5. I don’t think we will drop anymore points before Tuesday, we are not Everton!
  6. I do not understand this mentality, especially with the late goals that seemed to be scored every week. Why would you risk missing that? 🤷🏽 nothing queer as folk.
  7. He makes changes like this all the time when not needed. So frustrating changing for change sake.
  8. Still going to be the playoffs but this could be interesting, especially at Leeds on the last day, IF we can keep winning that is. I cannot work out if it is back in our hands or not, because we have to play Leeds and Leicester.
  9. Well played sir.
  10. Yes it only worked for once 😂
  11. The difference now to a few months ago is that even when we were losing to Huddersfield at home, I still thought we could win. This we will not win now.
  12. Pop it on the new Puma shirts!
  13. I think the top 6 are all a little bit shaky! At least we have those playoffs to ‘look forward to’.
  14. It will only be in the premier league, but what if they do not go up?
  15. He came on the Saints scene as a regular the season I started going to every game 1988/89 season. Then I watched him all through his career thinking it was the norm what he could do with a ball. Only to realise that I will never see someone in a Saints shirt again with that much natural ability. At the start of watching him it was all for £1.50 as well! Now that is a magic combination, the best footballer and only for £1.50. Now you can watch the current lot for £47 at Leeds and it will be in the main nowhere near as entertaining or passionate.
  16. The proof will be in the pudding come what May. If we do not go up, then we will I’m sure reassess in the summer. As fans I feel this is not the time to be getting on his back, or players backs but getting fully behind them. We are in the playoffs we still have a very good chance of going up, as the others in the playoffs are hardly blowing opposition away!
  17. Any other Saints fans on here in Cumbria. Trying to sort our car share to games, but the Cumbrians I meet have not heard of this board let alone be on it!
  18. It’s a top. Maybe they could make that red and white stripes from the design it is possible.
  19. For a minute then I thought that said Pumaball. Ha ha
  20. If this is the case at this stage of the season it could fatigue. To be far our play this season has made us look fatigued most the time. To work on fitness now at this stage of the season and the amount of games we have coming up would only lead to injuries though if they are fatigued. Shoukd have sent them (before international duty) away in sun for a complete break, rather than overthinking tactics and practice on training ground) a break would have been better for them.
  21. I do not think he is fully fit after getting robbed of the ball from behind on Saturday. Went off shortly after and I was surprised to see him start last night. Glad he did though. It is going to be tough to manage the amount of games we have this month, as we are looking leggy. Then we go straight into the playoffs! Probably.
  22. I’m hoping for Preston or Middlesborough in the semi of the playoffs as it is just down the road, but I cannot see this happening. I think it will be Leicester, Leeds or Ipswich 3rd, Saints 4th, WBA 5th and Norwich 6th. Pretty much top 6 as it is. Do not fancy a match outside of the weekend too Norwich or WBA! But would not mind any of those 2 in the final if we get there.
  23. Well 3 points and a building block. Win the next 2 home games, and this time next week ‘could’ look a bit different at the top. I’m still thinking playoffs, but if we hit some serious form and gain confidence we will stand a better chance in the playoffs. 🤞
  24. I got the feeling yesterday that the players on the pitch and even the Saints supporters in the stand were just drifting and now waiting for the playoffs. Weird really as even though unlikely we were still in with a shout if we put a really good run together. Also even the Blackburn fans and they are still in a relegation battle, no matter how unlikely that they will drop. It all had a rather last day of the season feel. If we go into a game against Coventry with the same mentality, we will come away with no points. Coventry are fighting for that playoff slot and I think we will come undone in this games. 1-2. If we attack and play like we can going forward we could nick it 3-2 or something like that. I have no idea and neither does our manager, players or supports. 🎢
  25. He seems to be drifting further away rather than closer to achieving the balanced team. After defeat to Bristol City he seemed to get the tactics spot on against WBA. Since then we have been poor.
