I have just got back into ice hockey. Used to watch the Guildford Flames 1996-1999. Great sport, fast, exciting, lots of goals for both teams and fights thrown in as well. When I moved back to Southampton used to travel up the the Spectrum to watch them as well. Now just popping over the border to watch the Solway Sharks. Don’t tend to win that much, but used to that. But with 2 games over the weekend you get more of a chance of winning. Also £1 for the boy to go and £14 for an adult. 7pm face off and finishes around 21:30. Great fun and entertainment. Cannot believe I have been up here 9 years and only just found out they are 35 minutes away.

This is true. If you are fit you can not only use your body to its full ability for longer, but also make better decisions mentally. You make more mistakes when physically or/and mentally tired. 😴

Going to be a hat-trick of championship managers, at best. We never learn from our mistakes, we need experience of the premier league or we might as well stuck to what we had. We need something to still believe we can make a fight of this, not like last time. Out of the 3 Jones was the best on paper with limited budget and in the playoff positions with an over achieving Luton Town side and he was crap. Really needs to be a much better appointment than this, or we will all be moaning come new year.

Enough is enough. There is losing and there is rolling over and having your belly rubbed, then making changes to make it better, only to look worse, until the 2nd half when Spurs took it easy because the job was done. I think he needs to go.

He needs to adapt his play, just so there is no fanning around at the back, or it is time to leave. The owners need to sit down with him and tell him his options!

I would have done both these away games if they were A) On a Saturday, B) out of term time. A Thursday in Manchester is even out of the question for me, and also a Sunday down to Nottingham. 🙄

Yeah maybe not this season so much, but you get my point. It’s all part and parcel of a game of footy. And we are not good enough over 90 minutes this season for sure.

I’m a qualified referee and it was nonsense, the goal should have stood, but if my assistant put his flag up I would have gone with that on the county league, but that’s not the point. We have VAR! 😡

We stick, unless we have a plan. We did not after Ralph and things got a lot worse! We will not have a better option and it will be change for the sake of change, and few million down. you are missing the point fella. But checking is why we have VAR. it was never offside. They just cannot seem to get it right. Championship you are correct we would have sucked it up old style and moaned when we saw it later. But checking and still disallowing it, what’s the point? 🤷🏽

We I have heard is still the ‘process’ and we are still at a very early stage of it. Seems they will stick with RM whatever and if we need to go again from the championship we will. Cannot see us staying up, but you never know.

We need to stop the Russball in our own 3rd. I like the way we play but higher up the pitch. Our 2nd goal on Sunday was superb, but we need to me more direct like that, and hurt teams, run at them. Do not Fanny around with the ball in and around our penalty box. If he does not change this, I will change from the 10%. The other factor is we need to have something better up our sleeve and not change just because the club are giving into pressure, which is growing, but not quite to the bed wetting levels of in here. I have no idea what the right answer is, but apart from the fannying around and the laboured play in the majority, I do like the way we ‘try’ and play football, it is an identity but it’s not working. If tweaked he could be onto a winner, but he might not be, just like any other manager who comes in. 🤷🏽

I would like to see this as well, not Edozie but players that can run at the defence rather than just tapping it around. I’m all for playing football and keeping the ball, but you need to hurt defences when you have the ball and be a little more direct by running at them. Stuart Armstrong used to go on a run through the middle, we just do not have this anymore from anyone. I thought this is why we have Fraser and Cornet, but does not seem to be the case.

Yes, but it was a terrible decision, and not an improvement for the management team. We could see this. We are talking about not having an experienced premier league manager, and the board have form!

What like when we sacked Ralf, replaced him with Jones and then sacked him and replaced him with Ralf’s assistant! I do not trust the clowns in charge to make the right changes.

Not unless there is a plan in place. Last time there was nothing up the owners sleeves and we got worse. I honestly do not think we have premier league quality in enough of the team for anyone to make this work. I like the passing game, but it is too laboured and not enough end product. I do not think we should be ripping up the blueprint and starting again!
