I have no fecking idea what are scores are going to be. Play like we did against Wednesday and we should win, or if like Saturday could be anything. Plymouth have started well though, better than I thought they would.

My son’s 3rd kit came today. He loves it. Popped it on and had it on all day. It looks alright… on him.

Another keeper that the ball seems to go through! Yay

This would round off the weekend lovely 😊

Agreed, it is all very different running with the ball at your feet, but you need to do this without the ball to create space for the likes of Tella, JWP and Adams… if they stay. I did say there was a lack of this last night, but when a team sits deep with everyone behind the ball it is hard to create any space.

Now on this topic, I have just come back from Carlisle v Fleetwood and apart from the 6 minutes and the 11 minutes added time, I did not see any evidence of the clamping down on ‘unnecessary’ fouling, time wasting or kicking the ball away. As a matter of fact there was some terrible fouls that went unpunished, goalkeepers wasting time and the ball getting kicked away after a free kick had been given. If there was a clamp down in league one and two I think a lot of games would be called off due to to many players getting sent off. Having said this, it seems these rules only apply for the first booking, then the referee bottles it and you can do what you like on a yellow!

The game was screaming out for Stu to come on, as we were knocking it around, but looked much better in the first half when we were running at them and more direct. Stu came on and we went for it again and nicked the winner. I really like Stu one of my favourite players who will have a storming season if he stays.

This. I bloody hate watching us on the box, and normally avoid it, but at matches I fine. Last night being the first game of the season and my boy wanting to watch it, so we did. Man it was enjoyable to watch us play like that. We played them last season and were pretty ordinary, but last night we controlled the game, but still nearly only got a point, which would have left many scratching their heads. if we can keep hold of the majority and even add a couple, we should have a great season and in the main an enjoyable one. Just need to stick with them if we hit a bad patch.

Bit like a Matty Oakley player. Goes unnoticed but is very important at keeping things ticking over.
-
I think he would probably enjoy another high flying season in championship, rather than a premier league struggle.
-
Did we not go to penalties with the, last season.
-
We were looking more dangerous when slightly more up and at them. We have become more tappy tappy. We have been great but just eased off a little.

Now don’t ruin my weekend this early!

There will be a surprise team that goes up, seems to always be a joker in the pack. Then there will be one of the relegated who get it right and one other from the top 7/8 of last season. Who these will be I have not a scooby!

Good point 🤔. I hoping it will go on sale though as I fancy this for the gym. Not seen anything about since a post about 3 weeks ago on their socials.

About 2 weeks ago these were revealed. Any idea if they are going to be sold to the public? Got the proper badge on and all. Or is it going to be like the Earps goalkeepers top for the World Cup situation and they are not putting the top on sale? Thus meaning that England fans have to buy the outfield shirt and get number 1 on the back! 🙄 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66263104

One of my closest away games, if not the closest.
-
I think he would link up well with Danny Ings on his return.
-
If they stuck the proper badge on it, I would buy some of this for the gym.

There are a hell of a lot of throwback kits next season!
-
Me too. League winners and FA cup winners and relegated. Rather than just relegated.

Not concerned if we manage to hold on to our players, we will be in a strong position as I said. If we end up losing quite a few closer to the start of the season then we will be starting behind. But unfortunately, like the club I do not have a Time Machine. Hindsight will be the wonderful thing.
