I am running the Great North Run with my daughter on September 10th. I secured the spot through ballot, and did and do not need to raise any money for a charity, but my motivation as always been in support of mental health after suffering from depression in 2018/2019. Looking forward to this one. I’m going with my 11 year old son (Saints fan) and his 9 year old cousin, (Liverpool fan) and I am hoping to convert the Liverpool fan into Saints fan… I won’t hold my breath. This will be the biggest crowd he has been to for a game, as all Carlisle thus far.

Ok cool, I have not seen anything. Che did have a medical at Everton last week though, but since then they moved the goalposts. I can see him at Palace.

Saints need to realise that ‘you are at your most vulnerable just after scoring’ is a saying not a command!

I don’t think a deal with Everton can be met. They cannot find the asking amount, I think they are pretty screwed and cannot make any signing, because of the cash situation. Looks like they are going to switch to a few loans instead. Take it with a pinch of salt, but heard from a long standing and suffering Everton season ticket holder. His words “we need shooting to be put out of our misery” seems really downbeat about this season. I did say to him at the end of last season that they would be fine now that they have stayed up, and have a new ground coming. The preseason to get sorted. He was having none of this back in June and even then said they need a complete takeover and strip down top to bottom, or they will struggle again this season. Sounded even more bleak when talking to him today.

Still think there should be another video of his shocking moments to be fair.

I think this will be our first clean sheet 2 or 3 to nil.

All gone quiet on the Tella front. Seems it was only Burnley interested. He looked more settled on Saturday. Perhaps I am reading into it to much 🤷🏽

I think it is because we would have won the final, no matter if it was Plymouth or Watford. To get so close and to lose it the way we did.

I make you right, there will not be a replacement just the trimming of the wage bill.

But as a professional footballer you need that mentality.

It is a bit of an unknown. Let’s hope it works out, but I think it is a shame, but must be shaving the wage bill is what the concern is?

I don’t know, as Che has experience at premier league level and is playing below that at the moment. Che knows the club and the players that he is playing with, with most being in the premier league with him. Time will tell, but I bet we will be back to shouting that we need a better striker later on in the season if Che and Tella both go.

Very poor if we let him go. My fears are coming true as we are losing players close to the end of the transfer window. Players we will not be able to replace at this level. At least Leicester did not put on a front and sold their players early on and now are more settled because of it. If Tella goes as well are promotion chances will drop massively.

Desperation to be seen to be doing something. I think we turn around and offer him a bonus for staying and getting us back into the premier league, upon scoring x amount of goals. IF we go up we see if he wants to stay, if not we take realistic offers. This is going to be a fun season, for the club, fans and players, especially those with premier league aspirations.
