Also I think a lot lost theirs during the first half and half time today. Madness!
-
Don’t worry my son lost his even before he joined the forum. 😂

Also, I do not see us losing at home again this season, but there will probably be one or 2 slips. Away I only see WBA, Leicester and Leeds as tough away games. Even a couple of these we could win. I know Leeds have got Leicester as well, as Huddersfield away (derby), Boro away, and Cov away. I still think we will just about have enough, but could come down to that last game. im sure all of the above will be rubbish and there will be many twists and turns, but boy it is fun!

I think the media picked up on this, but a friend at the game seemed to think it was directed at the abysmal referee

They set up well and did what they did very well, they in all fairness ran out of puff.

That’s it I’m disowning him. I should have checked really. It is possible though, but we have a couple of tough away games now. I have been saying since Christmas that WBA will be when we lose, just one of those away games on paper that look like a banana skin, but even more so as they are doing ok of late.

Keep the faith all. But also remember we WILL lose again in the league one day, and it will probably be soon, it does not mean we are crap, we are one of if not the best team in this league, and we will bounce back after said loss. I think most just do not understand how big of an achievement this run is. I think we have just beat Fulham’s championship record of an unbeaten run, don’t quote me my son told me.

Still got 45 minutes to rescue something. We know we are good enough to do so. 😊

We got a very early goal at home to Rotherham, battered them for the rest of the game and drew 1-1. Away we did a little better.

Not going to this one now. Was always going to be a bit of a trek, and then Liverpool away came up, so much better for me. Will just wait for Blackburn away and the final day of the season Leeds away. That will be it for me this season, unless there are playoffs.

I am loving the championship, and could easily take another season like this. Keep the team together and storm the league. I know it does not work like this, but like you say it will be back to losing most weeks and avoiding MOTD on a Saturday night! It is a dilemma, but we will not be like this every season if we stayed in the championship and we would end up just like all the other ex premier league clubs. So I suppose we better get back up there. I’m going as I want to take my boy and nephew to Anfield, so have my tickets. I’m not looking forward to it that much, but they will love it. The best for me at Anfield was 2-3 win in the league when David Hurst played for us, what was the 97/98? Seen us get completely thumped a couple times at think it was 6 or 7-1 😦

I’m looking out for Leeds more than Ipswich. Would be nice to get the goal difference better than Leeds as it could be very important come the final day. Ipswich are finally dropping away, which I have been saying since October 😂. I still think we are going to lose at WBA and I have no idea why I think that!

Scrap that, they both go up now.
-
Looking like it will be a Newcastle v Skakes playoff to go up.
-
Charlton got the late winner, but still have promotion in our hands. Don’t think we will quite have enough and with the juggernaut that is Newcastle on their way up, it could be a couple of years unless we do it this season.

I have an adult and child ticket for Rotherham away. Next Saturday at 3pm. Please message me if interested. Thank you

I think we will lose this game, but keep the unbeaten run going. Is our run still the best run even just in the league. I presume it is?

I have to say I am really enjoying this season. If you cannot enjoy the football now you never will. I think we will go up, but in a weird way I would love it to stay as it is, but of course it cannot and the club and fans want to compete at the top level. Also if we do not go up, it will not always be like this, as players leave and the money runs out, we will turn into the other clubs fighting it out just below us in the championship. but I have to say I am loving watching Saints, the way we play, the points we are picking up, and walking around knowing we are currently the best team in this league by far. Enjoy it where it lasts.

Just noticed that Leeds play twice and could move into 2nd before we play again, away at Rotherham we could be 4th. All phycological.
-
Leicester are having a wobble. They have dropped 5 points in their last 2 games and we have closed the gap from 13 points to 8. We also still have to play them at their place. I would say in our current form that gap could close very quickly. 😃
-
Tough one is, but on the basis we have still got to go to Leicester, Ipswich, WBA, and Leeds on the last day. I am thinking that champions maybe just out of reach. So a Leicester win for me to keep 2nd. On this note I think our unbeaten streak will end at WBA.

How big that goal by Gavin was at Preston!

Perfect way to start the Saturday afternoon. Killed the game off in the first half, keep the squad happy by giving them game time, and come away 1-3 winners, into autos and break a club record. on the note of records what is are homing winning run and what is the record. I know we have never won more than 6 in a row home and away, but wondering what the home record is.
