  1. What's the opposite of the invincible? I suppose we should be glad that we've at least won a game this season to avoid such a fate.
  2. Newcastle beat Sheffield United 8-0 away last season I think, so wonder if they can surpass that. This is hopefully the bit where we now win and I look stupid (please!).
  3. Forever in their shadow if I recall correctly?
  4. I've always said that being a Saints fan is a really great way to appreciate at an early stage that life is rarely easy and often full of disappointment. I genuinely think this helped prepare me for my journey into adulthood and the many challenges that have followed.
  5. More kudos directed our way on the BBC website…
  6. Although the horrendous drive makes it seem more like 250 miles away!
  7. The most regrettable thing about this complete cowpat of a season is that it probably ended for me around the 01st October (when we lost convincingly to Bournemouth). That has effectively meant nearly a year of footballing wilderness with the only carrot being 'beating' Derby's worst ever points tally record. What a thoroughly depressing situation. I just live in hope that Juric can get a tune out a few players and that we actually look like a normal football team for a few months (this will hopefully be helped by a few teams that are 'on the beach' making us look a lot better than we really are).
  8. Don’t forget that shocking miss by him at Newcastle shortly after the red card. Mad to think that it probably cost us half our current points total as things stand!
  9. I thought we weren’t allowed to call him that any more. Imagine the chant… ”You overweight controller, ahhhhhhhhhh”.
  10. There certainly are quite a few Saints fans down here, but even more Liverpool and Man United ones. 😬
  11. Same here, only know one or two other Saints fans here in Devon.
  12. Was literally just thinking this and up popped your post. Beating / equalling Derby’s record would be utterly humiliating. Imagine how in the future people would learn that the two 9-0s and the record low points tally came in THREE DIFFERENT SEASONS. We’d be a permanent laughing stock.
  13. Yeah, probably possible. Coming to some agreement would enable him to stop trying to get fit again, move back to where he came from and do whatever he wanted. He’d probably take that in exchange for 75% of his contract or something.
  14. I literally never thought I'd see the day!
  15. Wankers, all of them.
  16. Oh yes, all I’m saying is that we’ve had a long line of even shitter players than him that have been more of a priority. That statement is fucking mental I know, but probably true.
  17. This is it really, he’s probably been one of our least obviously shit players over the last 5 or 6 years. Make no mistake though, he also is in no way a Premier League quality player.
  18. He symbolises everything that’s wrong with our club. Was there for both 9-0s and many other terrible defeats. Should have been moved on years ago.
  19. We are utterly pathetic.
  20. Would take that be be fair.
  21. Well fuckadoodledoo, we’re losing yet again.
  22. That would be a pleasant kick in the bollocks.
  23. Oh God, do we have bother with today? Can’t we just pull a sickie or something?
  24. Can surely only be his epic highlights reel...
  25. Oh yes, this was only about a 5 out of 10 on the laughing stock scale (Brentford definitely a solid 9 I'd say). Fact is though, that's it's not normal to be winning a game going into the last ten minutes and end up losing 3-1.
