Everyone will be watching in case there’s the highly unlikely repeat of the infamous Gakpo ‘final’ game. Nathan Jones will probably make a remarkable hat trick of substitutions resulting in a 10-0 win. He’ll then declare his undying love for Luton and sign a new 20-year contract!
-
It’s not entirely clear in your post, but are you not happy with this potential appointment?
-
Not sure what to say. Was hoping for a Koeman style appointment to kick-start the Sports Republic era, but clearly I’m well off the mark.

I'm feeling pretty apathetic about his departure, albeit leaning more towards sorrow than happiness. I think of being top of the league for a day and smile, but then recall the 9-0s and grimace. Seemed a nice chap and definitely will be fine with his massive pay-out. Hopefully we'll move onto better things and we'll all end up happy.

His departure has been on the cards for some time, so we must surely have his replacement lined up? Guess it just depends on whether they are available to start immediately (like Ralph did when we appointed him from memory).

Surely this is the end for Ralph? I’ve not said this before, but it’s definitely time for him to go so we can try and salvage this complete cow pat of a season. -

So good he’s ten times better than the average player right? -

Our starting line-ups are hard to digest. I start quite confident, but as I progress down the list, I become progressively more despondent. -
Fixed it for you!

Can't stand him. An absolute waste of space and seems ridiculous that the BBC continue to give him a platform to voice his boring, pro top 6, nuggets of opinion.

A win? A clean sheet? What is this sorcery!
-
That would mean that it was unexpected (unless you mean us winning it out of nowhere) 😃
-
We’ve basically won this what with our clean sheet record. Perraud’s second Saints goal, both against Wet Spam.

I remember when I was a (not very good) Sunday league player. Regularly being named as a substitute, I had the "pleasure" of being linesman and the abuse I got was ridiculous (both from the opposition and my fellow teammates!). One game was so bad that this bunch of thugs wanted to beat the living hell out of me after the game because I had the audacity to flag one of them offside, which they clearly where, despite them being about 8-0 up at the time. I ended up having to run into a shop and hide behind the counter whilst the owner phoned the Police. In summary, I don't know whether to admire refs or think they are utterly bonkers as there are absolute animals out there masquerading as footballers.

There’ll be dancing in the streets of Southampton tonight if it stays that way as we rejoice at avoiding a complete humping.

And there goes the Haaland trophy…
-
Still the Haaland clean sheet trophy to play for. Come on Saints!
-
We would all have taken that at kick-off I think. Only objective today is to not get smashed.
-
How likely is that though?
-
Spreadsheet now saying 6-0.
-
20 minutes for goal number one so my spreadsheet says 5-0 at full time.

Not yet but I expect the waterworks will start fairly soon.
