I guess what I'm saying is that Forest might be the type of club that would be willing to stump up the kind of money we would demand (they have form for it, plus are paying Lingard an absolute fortune in wages). I'd personally like him to stay, but not convinced there's much chance of that.

Yup, that game really was very special. We absolutely dominated them that day and Lallana's goal was absolutely outrageous.

I was very fond of the last manager we had who won the World Cup as a player, so would be happy to give him a shot (especially over Gerrard or Lampard).

I see that Leeds fan is being charged with assault and ‘entering the field of play’. To be fair, I think we had 11 people at our game yesterday who you could apply the latter to.

Not sure I agree. We were clear favourites for relegation when they signed so it would have been suicide to sign them on huge wages. I suspect they were either signed with the 40% reduction clause, or on modest wages but with a bonus if we stayed up.
