  1. As transfer news is short at the moment ... I remember seeing Billy Liar back in 1965 and Julie Christie appeared in just a black bra and knickers. I was just 14 at the time but it was at that point I realised I was growing up!
  2. I think the only other time we had three bothers in the same line up would have been the Wallaces. Did the Dunno boys graduate from the academy?
  3. You have stopped taking your tablets again haven't you?
  4. "I feel the sooner Katharina sells up, the better." Be careful what you wish for ...

You are not that mad Russ! I reckon that sums it up in a nutshell .... (don't take the 'nut' personally!)
  6. Look back over your last 100 posts or so - you have consistently claimed the board are incompetent.
  7. I am really pleased you think of these things as I am sure there is no one at the club with the wherewithall and experience to consider these complex issues.
  8. Like manure in 1976?
  9. Is a new song really needed? What is wrong with the old standard: Koeman you reds, Koemon you reds ...
  10. "Brighton have accepted head coach Oscar Garcia's resignation following their Championship play-off semi-final loss." Mmmm ... now I wonder why he would do that having actually done very well at Brighton? But I am not a conspiracy theorist!
  11. I think you will find Glasgow Saint predicted this before the start of the season ... or, at least he will claim he did.
  12. Well, if that is what the papers say then I guess it must be true .. you couldn't make it up could you?
  13. According to the Daily Star: "Spurs are weighing up a shock approach for the Everton boss after overlooking him two years ago. White Hart Lane chairman Levy opted for Andre Villas-Boas ahead of the Spaniard to replace Harry Redknapp. Having seen how things have turned out for Villas-Boas and Martinez, Levy has realised he got it wrong. Villas-Boas lasted just 17 months at Spurs, despite spending £108m last summer. And though Martinez went down with Wigan a year ago, he has enhanced his reputation by leading them to FA Cup glory and bouncing back from relegation by working wonders at Everton this season. Spurs supremo Levy is now considering testing Everton's resolve to hang on to their impressive manager. The Toffees failure to qualify for the Champions League has given Spurs a boost." .... and we all thought they wanted Mauricio! How stupid can we be?
  14. And it appears Beckenbauer is not a fan of the 'tiki-taka' possession and passing-based style with which Guardiola enjoyed such success at the Nou Camp. Last month, the man who captained and coached West Germany to World Cup glory was critical of the Barcelona philosophy. "Barcelona are unwatchable because they pass the ball backwards when on the goal-line," he said, offering a view of the Catalans' Guardiola-inspired style that he reinforced after the first-leg defeat in Madrid a week ago, when Bayern boasted 64% of the possession but lost 1-0. "Possession doesn't mean anything when your opponents create the better chances."
  15. Police seek footballer Nile Ranger 04/27/2014 11:03 am BBC News - Home Web site view Police say they are looking for Swindon Town footballer Nile Ranger in connection with an assault on a woman and criminal damage to flats.
  16. Marsdinho's hair transplant anyone?
  17. The reporter has obviously made a mistake here. It should read "caring for her aunt who is a turkey".
  18. I suppose that sounds better than saying "We made the wrong choice when we appointed Richie"? I think they have made a very brave decision ... I wonder if running their own club is as much fun as they thought it would be? I would like to put on record that watching their suffering is causing me great distress and I feel for them; however I can't I am loving every minute of it.
  19. Well, at 2p in the pound I make that P****y will pay £400 (perhaps, if they have it) and Wolves will pay the other £19,600.
  20. Use of the term 'group' is interesting? Back to the days of maximising the brand by branching out into radio stations, conference catering, credit cards, etc, etc? Sound idea provided they make money not lose money like they did last time.
  21. Looks to me as though a number of issues that needed resolving but for one reason or another NC would not budge on are now being sorted rapidly. All these decisions make sense and should have been sorted before. There is no asset stripping here, just removal of dead wood and bad apples!
  22. Come on you lot, our U18 squad cost several million pounds to put together and theirs train by kicking a tin can around in Frogmore Road. What did you expect? (Well that is what the News report will infer anyway)
  23. I suppose we are going to see all our best players linked to top six sides now ..........!
  24. I am better known as Harpic.
  25. I missed out on the Ferrari but otherwise the description fits!
