  1. The £500k was for exclusive preferred bidder rights - Pinnacle had already done 'due diligence'. If the Echo is to believed then the this new bidder (MJ et al) have just moved to full 'due diligence' not preferred bidder so there is not deposit payable and no climb down, U-turn, favouritism or the like from the administrators.
  2. But surely you first have to have a club to take forward and if they are the only ones who can at least keep it running you can go nowhere, let alone forward. We are not going to get a 'sugar daddy' so we have no option but to accept what there is. Many have clamoured for 'fans' who love the club to get involved, well does Salz not come under that banner? Beggars can't be choosers ...
  3. Surely if SLH ceases to exist but the Football Club continues they cannot be inexorably linked and the ten point penalty is invalid
  4. So 'The Farmer' is Spencer Farmer who has interests in double glazing but also registers domain names for asset managers and property developers? He would certainly know if Pinnacle are involved if he knows them well enough to register their domain name - but Woolston? The business profile of Pinnacle certainly seems to fit with 'working with administrators' to assist in the sale of assets and to work with prospective purchasers of assets in dealing with administrators. They also specialise in the 'leisure' industry.
  5. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=282629#post282629 So, it was Matt who tipped off to SSN that the Guernsey builders were going to be at SMS and when! Given these two characters seem to have been somewhat discredited I find it hard to believe Matt is in league with them - on the other hand, he may have been a great footballer but what about his business brain? No I really can't believe he is tied up with these two ...
  6. Oh Royston, that is bit of a tease! Getting close eh? Thinking cap back on for a while. (Welcome to forum by the way, don't let all this 'low count' rubbish out you off - it goes back some way in to past take over rumours, it's not personal!)
  7. Of course the location is a diversionary tactic - it would be a real give a way if Royston Smith used Southampton for his location wouldn't it? He might as well put Civic Centre just so we all spot it straight away! Mark my words, I think this is certainly Royston and he is in the know and we should pay attention - but then again, I may be wrong I suppose ...
  8. Hang on a minute - Royston Saint may not be a Saint who lives in Royston but ROYSTON SMITH on the Council and Royston will know what is going on if any one outside of St Mary's does because the Council may step in at some point over the stadium if other option fail ... certainly ITK then?
  9. See my post above. Who is talking to SSN? Why our two CI boys of course! They told SSN they were going to SMS and, bingo, the cameras were there. SSN know exactly who they are despite the fact they are unknowns! SSN film them leaving to return to the CI's. Soon after they have gone Mark Fry issues a statement to the Echo saying there are four interested parties and it could take ten days to get a deal, obviously trying to counteract what has been fed to SSN. Frankly, these guys are trying to exploit the situation for their own ends and have no real interest/prospect of getting control, just promoting themselves and their business. They will not conclude a deal "within the next 48 hours" of that I am sure UNLESS they are errand boys sent to do a job for someone else ...
  10. What I am having difficulties with is that SSN seem to have a camera watching who goes in and out of SMS and, despite Mark Fry saying FOUR parties are doing due diligence, only these two character from Guernsey seem to have been spotted to date. It is also odd that they are virtually unknown yet SSN soon put a name to them! So, were SSN given a 'tp off' that these two were going to be going to SMS and at what time? Or am I catching conspiracy theory like the rest of you?
  11. No, he says we have NO bids, just four interested partied doing 'due diligence'. If, when they do 'due diligence' they find everything as they want it they might then bid, if they find things they did not expect or do not like they will walk away - that is what due diligence is all about - making sure! He does say he hopes to encourage them to make a bid, some will, some won't! Difficult times eh chaps?
  12. very true ... and there's a big difference in being WORTH £200m and having it in the bank and ready to spend. I am worth c£200k but I would have to sell my house to realise it before I could spend it and that would leave me homeless! Don't judge our new owners (if we get ever get them) by what they are worth but what business acumen they have to use the financial systems (what is left of them) to generate the investment needed.
  13. I was there too! I started supporting Saints in 1959 when I was just old enough to see over the wall of the west stand. We were in Div 3 and 50 years on we are back where we started. It makes me sad too and to make things even worse there is still a possibility that there will be no club next season, let alone one playing in Div 3!
  14. We are really quite good at spending other peoples money aren't we? I think some of you are totally 'out of it' when you demand other 'put in a few mil' - you can't justify being critical of how other choose to spend their money. It is their choice not yours and they make their own decisions based on the facts they have, facts we do not have!
  15. No he's on loan to Watford. (Not playing for them today either).
  16. Not been supporting Saints long then?

    Sam Vokes

Didn't sign him because we couldn't afford him (we were destined for administration remember?), but hey ho ... anything to beat up Lowe and co with I suppose.
  18. They did exactly the same to me. Encouraged us to borrow money to expand then gave us week to pay it back. That said, in their position as the world now is and toxic debt everywhere I can understand them saying enough is enough. What is done is done ...
  19. The advantage of hind sight eh? I am struggling to understand the logic here. Who are these three 20+ goals per season players we have loaned out? We have not had any of those since Matt Le Tiss, Micky Channon, Ron Davies and Derek Reeves (OK they were a few more) but in recent times we have not had one. Raisak, John and Dyer are hardly in that category and, apart from a short spell of good reviews at Swansea for Dyer, none have really set the world alight elsewhere. So Raisak scored for Watford on Saturday - are you telling me that we are where are because of that!!!!
  20. Two Boyles and no Euells so I reckon that, in the absence of any injury news about Euell, he should be one of the Boyles!

  22. Wow - we finish 12th on 62 points! Charlton, Norwich and Blackpool go down. We miss the play offs by just 16 points. Shame the games won't ALL finish as I predicted though...
  23. Yep, just done it and quite clearly Charlton, Blackpool and Norwich will go down, Barnsley just escape and we finish in 12th on 62 points, 20 points clear of relegation and 16 short of the play offs. The predictor is really good and provided you following simple logic based on current form we have no worries as the predictor confirms! Joking apart, if you look at others games as well as our own (which people above have mainly commented) on 46 points could well be enough and three wins might see us pretty safe. With 50 points we would surely be safe.
  24. ... but the income from season ticket sales might prevent us from going belly up - at least in the medium term (ie before Christmas)?

    Jason Euell

Is this the same Jason Mule that everyone was taking shots at last term we are talking about?
