Has Schweinsteiger got any legs left?

Theo WIDDERINGTON - not Tommy's son surely? Widderington is not exactly a common name.

How do we create an environment where players want to stay?
Panda replied to eddie's topic in The Saints
Player come and players go, it has been the same for years and will not change. Get used to it! -
So the Daily Mail's 'derisory offer' is "we cannot guarantee you will be first choice and play in every game, it depends on whether you show you deserve it!"
-
‘It’s a massive, unbelievable stadium and I can’t wait to play there when it’s full.' You may have a long wait sunshine! When is likely to be 'full' again?

How about Oooh Claudie Claudie Oooh Claudie Claudie Oooh Claudie Claudie Claudie Poo-poo-poo-poo-hell [Hokey Cokey of course!]

But this is not a normal contract is it? It has to be registered with the PL and we could not do that until Mpel is free of his current contract on the 30th June. The target date for appointing the new manager has now slipped to the 4th July - after the end of MPel's current contract.

It has been dreadful for over a week now, almost unusable at times.

Jack Schitt = JS = Jordan Sibley? No, it couldn't be could it? I hope not for Pamplemouse's sake!

,But It will not help them get out of League 2, it will put them nearer League 3 (div 5) - 4 down down Champ to League 1, 8 down to League 2 from League 1 and they were what 5th in League 2, so that puts them about 13th in League 2 if they do as well as this year. Mid table mediocrity in League 2 and only 6 places above relegation to League 5. This sounds like another FA plan to stuff them completely doesn't it? After all, it is all down to the FA (although we know that it is the FL of course) that have put them where they are as a punishment for doing nothing wrong.

I personally do not think being one of the best ten teams in country is mediocre, in fact for teams of Saints' and Stoke's stature it really is an achievement. I could say a lot more but I will leave it that. Sorry if that is accepting 'mediocre' but I was born a pragmatist and will always be one ...

There were another 32,000 of us stuck in traffic on the way there, it was all over by the time we arrived!

James Ward-Prowse's list of indisputable, unimprovable weaknesses
Panda replied to ScepticalStan's topic in The Saints
Funny that, BBC have him as man of the match so the other 21 (+ subs) must have been really poor I guess -
I think you have stitched MLG up!

A regular in the side when I started watching with my dad in 1959. One of a formidable, high scoring forward line of Paine, O'Brien, Reeves, Tommy and Sydenham. Sad news to hear he has passed away. RIP Tommy, thanks for the memories.

Oh dear, they are not going to be the biggest or the best fan-owned club for much longer; they will have no claim to fame at all ... "Leeds Fans Utd has today reached agreement in principle with Massimo Cellino to purchase a majority stake in Leeds United Football Club." Many supporters called on Cellino - who took over at Leeds since 2014 - to leave Elland Road after a 2-0 home defeat by Blackburn on Thursday left them 18th in the Championship. United would be the highest placed English club to be owned by their fans."

"Juanmi scored the winner and Jordy Clasie lasted an hour in a 2-1 behind-closed-doors friendly win over Ajax at Staplewood on Thursday." I thought this was in Holland?

If we concentrate on the Capital One cup and win it does it gives us a place in the Europa League next season? If we concentrate on the PL and come sixth or even better do we get a place in the Europa League next season? Should we concentrate on the Europa League so that we do not do well in the Capital One Cup and the PL so we don't get a Europa League place next season. It is a dilemma for sure ...

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Panda replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
The best way to avoid disappointment is not to have great expectations!
