We had all the trappings of Sky money,high season ticket sales, stadium sellouts, corporate boxes being sold,higher level sponsorship..shall i go on? We could have borrowed a fair bit fo a decemt player or two but no Mr Lowe only sanctioned enough for players of the quality you mentioned and therefore we went backwards.

You are right.. Mr lowe had the chance to move us forward with some investment in the team,but we stood still and everyone else overtook us. That was the trigger factor in our decline.

The guy is quality... A player with youth,skill and bags of commitment,just the atributes we all craved for and someone i thought would fit into the so called "new" set up. Now it seems we are going to sell him on the cheap..:mad: Players like him put bums on seats.

I asked the football chairman about Davies before the game and at first he said "i don`t know anything about it" and i said "Rupert has just told my friend over there" I then said "i thought you were the football chairman?" He was a little embaressed and could not get away fast enough. As he was leaving i said "who`s next then?" Think we all understand this but can you or anyone explain why we bought Schniderlien if we are trying to cut costs?????

If things are so bad then why did we spend mone on Schniderlien? No one seems to have the answer to this question.

A agree with him too. The reason Poortvliet knows nothing about Davies is because he has no control and he is selecting the players he is told too.

Fantastic first half and should have had a 2 or 3 goal lead but 2nd half we lost our way and they sussed us out and stopped us playing and we had no idea how to change it.
