Strange decision....no ridiculous decision, he should at least been on bench. But then the lack of decision making to change the style/formation/approach by the coach when the current style is clearly not working as proven yesterday is also ridiculous. Sorry to say it again but Mr Portvliet is a one trick pony and once the "trick" has been sussed/nulified he has no idea what to do...sad really:(

Not if we do not score enough goals...one is rarely enough for us as has been proven,even if we do play teams off the park they will always get a chance or two and that`s when we pay the price for our cronic lack of a decent finisher. This cost thing keeps coming up,but if we had a decent goalscorer who could finish teams off we would most certainly win more games at home and more people would come through the turnstiles bringing more money in which could be used to pay for the above mentioned player. If we continue to huff and puff like we do and fail to win games people will not return....simple really...

Not much to add that has not been said. Just want to reiterate the facts. We are desperately, yes desperately lacking a goalscorer. We have a manager/coach who has only one plan and no idea what to do when it does not work. We have diminising crowds and the continuing failure to win at home will make the numbers lessen even more. We have a chairman who cannot see that paying for a proper goalscorer will increase the crowds as we might actually win games and increase the revenue to pay for him. As far as the game goes we were average at best in first half and absolute ****e,worst in ages in the second.

Out of choice personally i would not have any of the highlighted in my team. The thing is, some on here and all in the management of this club think he is something special when he clearly is not,he is no better than the rest and worse than some we have here.
