Think she won it on Soccer AM didn't she? Drawn out of a hat IIRC.

Are you kidding me? I would pick Barney over Guly every time. But then I guess thats why football is a matter of opinion..........

Poor bloke. RIP

Pah hahahahahah, I lol'd - thank you for that! On a serious note, great news!! Am so excited to be a Saints fan at the moment, just feels like we are at the beginning of something special.... COYS

who is the co-commentator? He is an utter ****.

He sounds like a right Bjelland!!............ sorry.

Very proud of the team but still a little bit gutted. We should have taken more of the chances that we had in the first half (Guly - free header). Gave the ball away far too much in the second half and if you keep doing that against Utd then they will punish you. Ref was not going to give us anything in second half, but seemed to award Utd a free kick everytime they lost the ball. Thought it was a little odd that AOC was not put on the right wing at any point in the match, when whenever I have seen him he has torn teams apart in that postition. Still gutted for Lallana cos he would have had a field day in that first half, but I would much rather have him fit for league duties anyway. Overall very proud of SFC today and have had many texts from mates praising our performance. Ultimately Utd just had a bit more class and fitness which showed in the last 30 mins of the match. Awful for Dickson to give the ball away without looking where he was passing, but he will know himself what a mare he had. Onwards and upwards in the league!!! COYS!!!!

Nice one mate, really good idea! Be nice if the media picked up on it, regardless of the result. 'One Markus Liebherr, there's only one Markus Liebherr'.

Ah, I've missed that phrase.....one of my favourites!! Not been seen since the Martin O'Neill thread..
-
Well he won't have to like sitting on our bench, cos we aint signing him ffs......... this thread is nonsense.

I have spoken to a couple of mortgage advisors, but they have basically said that due to our loan to value rate, we wouldnt be able to get another mortgage at the moment. I have also spoken to a financial advisor who bascially said 'two choices - sit it out and hope for the best, or sell up and pay off all debt and start renting somewhere'. Both options worry me..........
-
I honestly could not give a **** about this game. I think it takes the **** that there is already a thread about it FFS. League is all that matters to me.

I've just smiled for the first time this afternoon. Thankyou!

Bit harsh IMO

Thanks for the idea, will look into this and see what occurs. Probably won't touch us with a barge pole but I really appreciate you suggesting it!
-
Sounds awful but I find this approach helps the most........... You only live once, might as well enjoy what you can while you can!!
-
Thing is, at the time all you can see is two choices. 1) Don't get a mortgage and be forever depressed 2) Get a mortgage with the only option and own a house and be happy Thats how they tempted so many people into doing it. As you said we are now just sat on the variable rate and hoping for the best. Still, **** happens, it's only money!
-
Yeah the mortgage bit is fine, not a problem. Its the fact that the loan repayments go shooting up as soon as you 'seperate' the two sides of the deal. The only options we seem to have is stay where we are forever, or at least hope we have alot more equity in the future (we do have some now but not enough), or sell up, pay off all the debt and start renting/saving for another mortgage which will probably take us years. Not after any sympathy BTW, my own silly fault for getting in so much debt in the first place (angry face thing).

Worry not Liquidshokk, it aint just you :-( Depressing stuff really......

Alpine vs Dune in 'taking over thread shocker'!!
