I just think that SR are so utterly clueless that we will just continue to see more of the same. The first season we had under their ownership was a shambles. They came in to our club without any idea what they were doing and have learnt absolutely nothing since. Everytime they have had a chance to reset and do something to make a positive change they have failed miserably. I have zero faith that they will get any decision right. The promotion and the couple of good players we’ve signed seems like a complete fluke. Players that will likely be gone at the end of the season anyway so even they have been wasted on us. I had half a hope that our owner would finally step in and maybe sort this shit show out but as he’s apparently backed IJ for next year it seems he knows fuck all as well. As someone else has said above for once us lot really do know more than the people in charge. The best thing about our club is and has always been the fans. We are as good a bunch of football supporters as you can get and whatever happens next we’ll still be here. Up the saints 🔴⚪️

There was a moment second half that summed us up completely. Sulemana received the ball on the left when on a slight break and just slowed down and came to a stop. He then turned around and passed backwards. Even without the passing backwards the attack was done the second he decided to stop running forward and casually looked around before sending the ball in the wrong direction. Surely the natural and obvious thing to do would be to keep running forward and be able to attack less defending players but yet we see this stuff time and time again.

Other than some brief moments we’ve had plenty of grim years behind us since around 2017

We’ve called pompey scummers for as long as I can remember but over the past few years people seem to have forgotten this. I hate that they’ve now turned it around on us. Even some of our fans refer to us as scummers it’s very odd.

He took one penalty that season and fluffed it after he did one of those stupid run ups. Would’ve equaled Vardy and shared the golden boot if not for that. Still annoys me that happened.

That’s a very good point! Surely saints will show games some other way if not on ifollow. Is there a one off sign up to all games or is it done per team. Could be expensive but would make no sense for saints so they must be planning something.

Looks like we're one of 3 Championship teams not showing up on ifollow on the EFL website. Maybe they’ll stream our games themselves. Still no 3pm games shown though so not sure how many are actually available anyway as surely they will only be playing at other times for tv (sky sports) anyway.

The fact that he’s not lost his place to McCarthy when he became available makes me think he probably will be unfortunately.

Shame we couldn’t get the win but a good game all the same. Tottenham gave up a 3-1 lead against us so at least we have the excuse of playing the league leaders. I had accepted relegation before the game but it has at least shown we can still play football sometimes.

Heart pumping anxiety is pretty much a mainstay of my life as a saints fan except for a few years here and there! 😆

Always hopeful that we could get something from this game but prepared for the worst. I was actually a little surprised at the red card as although you could see why it was those can go either way. Especially at old Trafford against the home team. Looked very even after that and could have gone either way. Draw was fair I think and most would have taken that result. Watched with a united fan and he thought the same. KWP with some big tackles in the corner and Bazunu making some saves I’d said to my mate wouldn’t happen if there were shots on target. JWP appealing when he could have got the ball was weird and was lucky to end up in a failed utd attack. Never understand when players don’t play to the whistle. Same as players grabbing the ball when they’re brought down.

He seems like a genuinely decent guy so wouldn’t surprise me if he wanted to stay with us and help us get promoted back up. Demand for him will be at its highest in the summer if we go down tho so if he does stay I would think he’d stay for good. Assuming the club don’t actively try to sell him. Seeing as he’s the saints poster boy and our most important player I would like to think we’d want to keep him regardless. We will lose a lot of players going down to the championship but losing him would be damaging. Not just to the dressing room but to the fans as well.

I really hope he sets the record with us. Although as soon as he moves somewhere else saints will be forgotten by the media. Especially once he’s scored a fk for another club. You never know tho he may still turn out to be one of the rare loyal ones and stay 🤞🏻
