Too many beers...but glad I got my Finals day tickets early again Was a brilliant day out last year despite our tame exit in the semis. Can only do better this year!
-
196-4. Brilliant unbeaten century by Vince. Last 2 wickets very flukey / unlucky but still excellent. Pitch doing nothing so a high score was needed
-
1501-1 off 16. Nope!
-
Well, game on. Rained most of the day but drying now. Ervine in the team. Lost the toss, batting. 18-0 off 2.1
-
Given today's weather, which looks like rain up to about an hour before the match starts, winning the toss today is a must. Fair play to anyone going.
-
And maybe wait until the new signings (so far) have played more than one, or none, PL games before saying they are not very good.
-
Shameless repost of my response the first time around:
-
Based on a transfer window that is still open. And 1 Prem game. Or none, in Clasie's or Caulker's case. Jeeeez
-
Anyone else going to either the T20 QF or Finals day? I am at the Finals, and am thinking about a late decision for Worcs.
-
All out, 20 short . It has been an excellent afternoon!
-
Our bottom of the table rivals are struggling today. Worcs lost. Sussex are 9 wickets down still needing another 32 runs....
-
Play started on time. Wicket 4th ball. 7 down!

The radio 5 commentators said, late in the first half, that they had expected us to look fitter, and sharper of the two teams because we had already played two competitive games. But they said "surprisingly, Newcastle look sharper and fitter across the pitch." It may be that they went all out first half and thats what cost them in the last 20, when they looked shattered
-
Radio Solent said at 6pm that we should be clear of rain from 1pm onwards, if not earlier. Should be fine though we could have declared earlier IMO
-
With the lead we have, I guess we will press on and should declare Sun AM and get them back in batting before lunch.
-
Take a bow young Mr Crane. 125 all out. Surely even we cant blow this now?!
-
Dont live in London but work there. Some TV midweek aways inc Europa could well bring out the 6-10 of us again. Friendly bunch, esp me
-
Team beaten most often since I was born: Spurs Team which has beaten us most often in the same period: Spurs Oh

Zero women. Must be a lot of Mums on kids to bed duty then?
-
The key is to not have BT Sport at home.
-
Can still type? Lightweight ffs
-
Job done. Well done lads, especially Dawson, Smith and Wood.
-
Back on. Warks need 259 off 42 overs. Only 22 less, with 8 less overs, so I will take that. EDIT: off again. 22 behind the D/L score still, so we win if it keeps raining, though commentators think it will stop
-
Dawson and Smith, again, to the rescue with the batting today. 94-4 when they came together, finished on 280-7. Warwickshire currently going well at 50-2 having been 4-2 (Wood)
