a nice cup of tea and a few biscuits for me, before putting my cap on and then strolling to the ground to watch the beautiful game from my favourite spot

Not by me. Wolves game of course. A month of so of hope last season when he came back from his enforced loan spell. But also - he scored on the final day against Sheff Utd the season before - it was not just the Stern John show! It is great shame how it has worked out and its the right decision now, but I wish him well

There will not be empty seats FFS. Biggest game for years. General Saints feelgood factor at its highest for years. Pompey on brink of closure. Saints on brink of Wembley. Check this Forum for small sample of the desire to get a ticket for this match. End of rant

There's only one Lee Barnard. Repeat

Good plan. lets get a good one (one that can teach people not to let late goals in)

Cant buy it in Berkshire, I have tried. Not very hard though

How many players should we off load now or in the summer?

Agreed. We will need plenty more new, better, players for the assault on the Championship table -
Spot on. What other Industry Body kicks its members when they are down - and seems to take pleasure from doing this? They dont even realise the irony that it is, at least in some part, their fault

So you dont remember his return from being on loan in Denmark (like most of our strikers, not his choice) last season?

"I'll have sauce with mine please" All of the above

So he will start scoring goals for fun straightaway after joining us? Even better
-
Thanks - appreciated and good luck to your boys and to Pato (assuming this all happens)

sorry but I disagree. It wasnt great but it was not as bad as you make out. It may well have been where you were stood, but that was not the case elsewhere. The 2nd half behind the goal was pretty decent throughout - yes it did increase after we were down to 10 men, but it was not bad before. I agree that I wish more would sing. I wish more would keep it up. I wonder why people go to away games, knowing they will be standing with lots of people who sing, and then keep quiet. I even saw a couple in front of me (wearing Saints stuff) who barely even moved when we scored... cheers

Its been covered a fair few times before, but when we have a large away following (so, most of the time) and we are spread out over a stand, or a stand and a half, the coordination of singing breaks down and you have groups singing different songs, or some quiet while others are screaming their heads off. In the 1st half there was a decent amount of singing, but the rows around me were quiet and not joining in. I moved behind the goal in the 2nd and it was much better. Plenty of singing, lots of different stuff, good banter and I have never cheered a throw-in so much in my life as when the ref finally gave a decision our way with 2 mins to go.....

A few muppet fans went on the pitch, granted. But not many. Players defo did not celebrate too much - just acknowledged the 3000 (MK will bring less than half that). The fans and their management are c**ks
-
yeah no one wants to go to this game do they. except the 3000 going midweek, in the cup, 7pm KO, live on tv. just for that he should charge face + 10%

Barnard to Saints (probably). £150k bid Echo = FACT
-
bless 'em, they mean loud
-
I thank you

Calm down both. I hate what they did to Wimbledon as much as most, and I sincerely hope AFC (who I have been to watch) overtake them, but whoever they are playing, I am going to support Saints in a cup semi. End of.

Er, except it is semi final of a cup with a Wembley final. Maybe I missed it but we dont get to go to semi finals all the time and we have had a mighty depressing last 4 years, and have a real chance of winning. I think we will get nearer 3k. I am definitely going but might not bother for a mid week league match
