I've been away, but it was here when I got back this afternoon. Someone at the ticket office forgot to pay any postage though! You had one job.

Expected downtime tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd July)

I know it's been mentioned before, but worth remembering that if you're not happy with Tapatalk (I got rid very quickly), you can go to this page in the browser on your mobile and change the style to "Default Mobile Style" in the drop-down box at the very bottom left of the page. Then save it as a shortcut on your home page for quick access. At least on Android. No idea about Apple I'm afraid, but Mr Cook may have deemed you worthy of such a thing I suppose. -
After reading I dug out a photo of my boy as a small lad taken with Marians outside St Mary's. Does anyone know how I might get in touch with him or his agent (does he have one? ), as I'd like to try and get a copy autographed as a surprise for my now 21 year-old. Thanks.

Agree. We should sell Hoedt, buy him back and then sell him again to make sure he gets the message. Davis?

Commentators can't believe how offside it was!

Just looking for one more now........ Thanks everyone.

I want to take a couple of old reuniting friends to the Bournemouth game. I'm a season ticket holder, but this gives me no advantage until they go on (almost) general sale on Monday. There are two spare seats near to mine, but nothing else close and I'd like to get them today if possible, as they may not be available by then, especially if we get a good result against Brighton today. So, I'm looking for a couple of membership numbers that I can add as "friend and family" and buy the tickets. The only thing you get out of this arrangement, apart from the warm glow of helping a fellow fan, is that you get the purchase record on your account if that's worth anything to you. You might see this as queue-jumping and if so I apologise for any offence, but given the length of my service to the cause and that I still have a ST after all these years, I'm asking. All required bona fides can be supplied. Thanks for reading.

Saville was not an organised conspiracy in the way suggested by the OP. But surely you realise that.

Idiotic claptrap. Conspiracy theories always fail when you think logically of the number of people this would involve and the likelihood of them all receiving such worthwhile kickbacks that they keep keep quiet for years on end. At what level were you a "former ref" out of interest? Obviously not high enough to have benefitted from all this malarkey. Or is this it? The turning of the worm....

Parking for the football and parking charge notices
twopintsnilnil replied to saintmatt's topic in The Saints
Loads of £5 parking within 5-10 minutes walk of the ground. I'm guessing it would cost at least that in the city centre. You need to get in 45 mins before KO as it fills up. -
Not that I blame him for wishing he was back at Norwich, but has anyone else noticed the extent that he is all over them on Twitter? I think we get a few cursory mentions, but he's constantly banging on about Norwich FC and all his mates there. Most recently, attending their game v Ipswich yesterday. I can see the attraction, and he is a local lad, but it's a surprise that someone at Saints hasn't has a word.

Oh dear 2-0. Since when were Qatar any good at football? I know Japan are not exactly world-beaters, but Qatar?

I suspect that as premier league footballers their experience of the "hassle and and stress" of foreign travel may be significantly different to yours and mine. Most of us will have more difficult commutes to work.

A Cougar. Really? How on earth did he get that? And where was his wife sitting in this single-seat carrier-based fighter?

Wasn't always the way by any means. 11 years ago my son had the privilege of leading the team out with Claus at Loftus Road. The process was me phoning up Saints community office, asking if he could be a mascot, and them saying "OK then, which game is suits you". No freebies, but no fees either. He was so emotionally exhausted he fell asleep during the game (2-0 Rasiak, BWP). Unforgettable for all of us.

They're not going away. You'll get used to it chaps.

My son and I went to the Lych Gate. I'm a square 57 and he's a slightly sarf London 20. No colours obviously. Landlord clocked us straight away (we're the ones not wearing Wolves shirts), but only after we'd ordered. We sat at a table with some Wolves lads who turned out be nice blokes, but the landlord came over, put his hands on the back of our chairs and whispered "You away fans, lads?" I assured him that we were only visiting the town and were surprised to see so many football fans around. He didn't believe me of course, but given that we looked so harmless I'm surprised he even bothered. Maybe he thought we were advance scouts. The Wolves lads said he's a bit of a w@nker - ex-copper apparently. Nice pub, nice ales, friendly fans, unnecessary landlord.

Only if you believe football contracts are worth the paper they are written on. Have you not been paying attention over the last few years?

I wonder why Tadic fancied Ajax?

Now that's a good idea. And I'm a boring lefty as well, so it should suit. Thanks.

Rather than spending a fortune on the Premier League this season, my son and I are thinking of taking in a few European league games. We're considering anywhere in northern Europe and happy to take in smaller games rather than PSG/Bayern/Ajax and the big derbies if that makes getting tickets easier/cheaper. I'm sure others must have done this, so if anyone has any tips at all about good weekends away that include something to see and do in the vicinity apart from the football I'd be grateful. We'd be particularly keen on something that wasn't the ordinary Premier League experience. For example I understand some German clubs have standing areas, which could be fun. I've looked at Shalke, but their web site is worse than ours and doesn't appear to want to sell you any tickets at all. Cheers.

This is wishful thinking I'm afraid. As a simple google will reveal in many places......https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3277262

Too late for the cotton wool. He was holding his hamstring.
