We can moan about the ref, but costly mistakes and not seeing a game out has been the story of our season, with 21 points being dropped from winning positions. Do we have the bottle? Even though I am the resident 'modern fan vlogger', believe it or not I'm disappointed with the news. I religiously buy programmes and read them inside the stadium in the build up to kick off; the captain and manager notes making me believe we're in for a great game, even if nine times out of ten we're not. I especially buy them at away games to prove I've been to that stadium, and keep match tickets inside them. I guess they're a memento that, if the game becomes a historic classic talked about for years, proves you were there. It'd be a shame to lose them, especially as, as good as online content can be, it doesn't have that sense of permanence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I saw that earlier today, was actually in those highlights twice, one of them was the same shot of MOTD but then there was another which I wasn't expecting. Thank you! Yeah I do and I'll keep posting for all those that do, and those that don't will hopefully just choose to ignore it. As far as I know, no unfortunately, however would definitely take the opportunity if offered. I will most likely blog about it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you, that means a lot, appreciate that. Yeah exactly, I respect everyone's opinions and can see where they're coming from, but there's no right or wrong way to support the team, in fact it's the diversity of ways different fans do that makes it a whole encompassing culture. Saints win, riot police across the city, I get destroyed on SaintsWeb, and feature on Match of the Day. This one will be lively. Saints 2-1 Bournemouth: Saints Reborn-mouth? https://owenthesaintsblog.wordpress.com/2018/04/30/saints-2-1-bournemouth-saints-reborn-mouth/ Also, as my vlogs are so well loved on here, here's my 90Min FanVoice of the game. Many thanks to the above posters for the support as well, wish I had more posts available to respond personally. And thanks to anyone that has stuck up for me or even offered an opposing view point fairly, have appreciated it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers mate, I very much appreciate the support, especially given the lambasting in the match thread for it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apologies I haven't responded sooner, have the 3 post limit. I see the video I posted in here yesterday received mixed/negative feedback, and I'm ashamed to have turned a thread celebrating our first Prem win since February into moaning about me. I'm sorry to have caused such a reaction, I only posted it as I thought some (definitely not all) people would be interested in it. I'd just like to defend myself on a few points: The content of the video is as such because that is what I'm required to do for the company I vlog for. The video posted was my own edit of clips I record for a YouTube channel called 90Min Football. They pay for my travel and ticket (home and away), in return I film live reactions/commentary to the game for their channel. This is why there's no in game footage and it's all me. It's an amazing opportunity that I'm sure many people would take given the chance. Definitely people, my age, at uni who would otherwise be unable to attend anywhere near as many games, especially as I go to uni in London. There have been comments about who would actually watch such videos, and I understand that it certainly isn't for everyone, it probably is for the younger fan. Having said that, for example my Chelsea at home 90Min vlog had 84K views. I'm not blowing my trumpet, I'm just showing that there are people who enjoy this perspective of the match, and the company I vlog for makes enough money to send 20 Premier League fans around the country every week. With regards to how the people around me feel, I have been doing this all season and not one person sat around me has taken issue with it, often people join in and take interest in what I'm doing. I try my best to not to disturb anyone, we're all entitled to enjoy the game in our own way. Now if someone did raise an issue, I'd do all I can to ensure the situation is corrected. Though I would hope people would understand that I wasn't just doing it for myself. Having had a close up of my face broadcast in the Match of the Day highlights last night, I'm not sure anyone who attends games can have issue with featuring in a video when they could be being beamed around the world without realising. And anyone who takes issue with me talking into a camera... it's not a library, I am allowed to make noise, and I do spend most of the game chanting with everyone else. So even if I am a 'modern football fan', I still leave with a sore throat having supported the team for the 90. I'm definitely not more obsessed with filming myself than I am Saints. I don't want to start any arguments and am sorry to have caused this much negativity in what was a positive thread. I'm sorry that the video wasn't for you - I'll stick to just posting them in my own thread from now on, only watch them and read my blog if you are interested. I hope this has cleared a few things up and we can now focus on Saints again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I understand the above reactions, but I vlog also for a YouTube channel called 90Min, and they cover the cost of match tickets and travel. I'm sure if you were lucky enough to be offered the opportunity... it's not stopping me supporting the team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed, the squad is lacking quality in key areas, and the quality we do have seem to have their heads elsewhere already. Ultimately we have talented players but no core team, they don't gel at all and I'm sure most are looking for exit (and maybe see relegation as the way to most likely achieve this). I can see it getting messy in the short time frame over summer as demand for players, relegation clauses and trying to keep wages manageable in a lower division all come to the fore. I probably agree that Puel should never have been appointed, he definitely wasn't the successor we needed after Koeman. Tbh I'll make up my mind after he's had a summer transfer window at Leicester to see how they play when he has the squad he wants. In all honesty it's got to a point where I'm not sure any manger could get our squad really performing consistently... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The result and performance didn't stop me having a great day out at Wembley with my dad. That's what it's all about. The fans are the club and always will be; football matches are just there to bring them together. 90Min FanVoice of today's game here: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
