Yes! Hart said in his opinion in would not happen. Storey was not quite so forthright although he did not appear too confident. At the end of the pfc forum last night someone asked what would happen if the take-over did not happen. Storey made some reply, a bit muddled I thought about there may be something else up his sleeve that he could not comment on. Only he knows what he mean't but he seems to have a knack of putting fans worries at rest by reciting cliches, and letting the pfc fans only hear what he thinks they want to hear

I would add that the fans were complaining about season ticket prices, Portsmouth are unable to fill their ground yet Storey says a priority is to turn the ground into a 30000 seater stadium!! - Why would he want a ground with 10000 empty seats. The question he should ask to the fans is - You fill this ground as it is now then we will build a new stadium He was asked about the training ground. Yes all planning permissions are in place- thats good then isn't it ? Oh no just waiting for the funding............. something else that won't happen then It strikes me that Pompey need to stop flirting with potential billionaire buyers, arabs and all - get rid of the chancers on the board and start a re-buuild starting with the board room

I listened to the pfc fans forum with Peter Storey et all. Radio Solent said there it was live with an attendance of 300 fans!! For a club on its way down and with quite a few pertinent questions to be asked I was amazed at the lack of fan input and would question whether many of them were in fact live. They lapped up everything Storey said and straw poll amomgst them still resulted in 50% believing they would be taken over! Storey said amongst his comments that all managers 'tapped up players' and this was well known but then in a later question refused to say whether the club were after a prticular player saying he could no comment - talk about double standards They struck me as a very unprofessional club run by by a bunch of chancers and barrow boys and in stark contrast to the professionalism of our owner

Solent reporting that Pardew believes that Rasiak will be leaving due to a bid from an unnamed club. Pardew also hoping to sign a player before the week-end. Shame about Rasiak but I suppose inevitable really!

Todd was shocking and totally out of his depth - I guess Jones thought that he did a good job in a lower league and would raise his game or succeed for us , unfortunately it did not happen !!

I remember when Dave Jones took over at the club. He brought many players with him from Stockport I think it was, in a quite short period of time. They and the rest of the team took a very long time to gel together and play consistently well and I believe that the gradual introduction of better players by Pardew as the season progresses will do us better than spending on anything that moves or is immediately available

I totally agree with your sentiments over Boyer. People on this forum may suggest Saga and Rasiak as being lazy but that is never an accusation that could be attached to Phil Boyer. I rarely saw him give less than 100% and although McDougall seemed to grab the headlines, imo it was Boyer who was the hardworking player alongside him . He was one of Southamptons greats in my opinion.

Amazing therefore that the administrators did not carry out additional due diligince on the proving of funds. I think that Fry should have accepted the £1/2m from the pinnacle group and not Crouch. What is the point of asking a prospective purchaser to prove funds and then accept the monies from someone else.
