  1. As long as we can get more points than Derby so we don't set yet another record, in my eyes, it won't be a total disaster of a season. Just. Getting a little bit of pride back, instead of borderline shame wouldn't go amiss either. Welcome Ivan Jurić and good luck.
  2. Feels like continents have come and gone, but at last we have a really decent keeper again. Well done all involved.
  3. Well we got away without him tonight, for whatever reason. To not play him against Liverpool would be folly.
  4. One of the very few bright sparks to come out of this grim season. Seems level headed, for his age, and has an eye for a run or pass. I like him.
  5. That's more like the Saints I know.
  6. I prefer the look of that to be honest...
  7. No way we looked like the team at the bottom with that display. Great point that could make the difference at the end of the season. Need to play like that every game, obviously putting the ball in the net now and then will be handy as well. UTS
  8. Definitely a better fit than Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard would be. Still, mostly pointing to us going down whoever is manager and that's something my brain can handle. But, and this could be watching all the escapes in the 90's, not going to be that shocked if we stay up. I may or may not be on something and no you can't have any.
  9. What a weird and damaging episode that was.
  10. I'm liking this experiment. Lets flurt with minimum points, worry everyone including future sales, wing it for 5 months then stay up with a rizla paper between us. Hardcore minimalism.
  11. Fine on freeview.
  12. Newcastle playing this as any right thinking owner would. Said by at least one poster earlier in this thread that the owners don't have a plan. It's exactly why Howe was appointed, in my view. If they go down he's the guy to get them straight back up, with all the millions they will throw at that. Achieve that and five months into the premier league, when all might not be going to plan then sack him and a top manager comes in. Pretty sure all parties will be well aware of the plan that the multi billionaires have.
  13. Looks like he's got good advisors at least. Confidence in himself as well.
