SR sacked Ralph after 14 games with Saints on 12 points - which after 14 games this season would have us 3 points above the relegation zone. Today after 14 games we are 4 points adrift at the bottom on 5 points.
I second your view. When Leicester won the league they regularly defended corners with Vardy and Mahrez stationed on the halfway line, one on each touchline.
To the tune of Respectable by Mel & Kim:
CHE, CHE, CHE, CHE, CHE-CHE, CH-CH-CH, CHE, CHE!
CHE MCADAMS, HE IS SCOTLAND'S FINEST
AND HE'S ALWAYS GONNA GET THE SAINTS A GOAL!
Doesn't appear to be correct though if they are saying seven seasons in a row e.g. in 2017/18 we lost both games against the reigning champions Man City.
Similarly in 2018/19 we lost both games against then reigning champs Chelsea.
Ralph is a fantastic manager, but today's lopsided bench of 4 attackers and only 1 defender was a selection error, which limited our options for responding to the injuries. Hopefully a lesson learned for future matches.
Saint in Winchester is right.

I just did it and was very easy. If you enjoy the show and think it worth £2.50 an episode please spread the word by whatever means at your disposal to your Saints mates.
It was very noticeable how the Sheff Sheff Utd GK always tried to throw the ball out quickly and get his team on the attack while Saints had men committed forward. McCarthy should do a lot more of this, especially when we are playing against a 5-man defence.
