After watching the better footballing team loose today to West Hoof I believe we will never see England win the world cup whilst teams like WH succeed in the Prem League. The England style mirrors WH. OK not so much hoof ball but hard working no flair still prevails against good footballing teams. Look at Swansea and the trouble they find themselves in.

Winter beats summer Olympics any day. -
Typical, get back from skiing and should be home for 3 pm so was hoping to catch the game. No chance now

Easy enough job to do if you have the tools.is it top or bottom entry unit as you may have to drain the whole tank if its a bottom unit. One of the biggest problems is undoing the heater without splitting the tank if the previous unit has had a lot of boss white used to seal it. Best change the stat and cable as well. You will need a tank spanner, hose to drain off the tank, new heater element, stat and cable.

Amazing place, so clean and crime free. Not sure if its still right but when we were there a few years ago we tried to get a taxi on the main Orchard Rd and the taxis would not pull over to let us in. Found out that you had to go to designated taxi ranks so that the traffic doesn't get held up

I know its not football related but think it should be on the main board . He hit his head on rocks skiing and is in a coma. Met him a few times and is a really nice guy. Lets all hope he recovers.

Think that's the 4th time we should have had a pen for hand ball this season

This member of staff is unhappy to sell alcohol and yet perfectly content to derive a salary from a company whose income is derived (in part) from the sale of alcohol and pork products etc. Doesn't this appear to be extraordinarily hypocritical? Also I have been to the middle East and staff at shops are happy to sell Alcohol so why the difference here. Yet again this will divide the population and give cause to both sides of the argument. The right will say here we go again pandering to minorities, the hard line Muslims will say look if we keep pushing we will get our way and turn Britain into a Muslim state. No one wins and this just causes more issues.

Nope 47 and still young. I refuse to grow up.

Anyone got one of the new Fiesta ST's. Might be able to have one as a company car instead of a bog standard Focus. I had a Type R a while ago and would love another hot hatch. Don't do that many miles so fuel economy doesn't worry me. Can only have Vauxhall or Fords and I hate Vauxhalls

I have been told that Guy Whittingham is still being paid for another year. More money down the drain

Who's going where this season. Just booked 12 of us for Tignes. Anyone been there

BBC ratings for the game, absolute joke. [h=2]Joe Hart (goalkeeper) - 8[/h] England's outstanding performer. Excellent display that will give England manager Roy Hodgson and the goalkeeper himself great confidence after a poor run of form. [h=2]Kyle Walker (right-back) - 6[/h] Had a tough time on occasions as Germany broke on England. Still behind Liverpool's Glen Johnson in the battle for the right-back spot. [h=2]Chris Smalling (centre-back) - 5[/h] Beaten in the air by Per Mertesacker for the goal and involved in a moment of confusion with Joe Hart in the second half that fortunately went unpunished. [h=2]Phil Jagielka (centre-back) - 6[/h] Occasionally struggled as Germany showed their quality in attack - but still on course to be first-choice central defender alongside Gary Cahill in Brazil. [h=2]Ashley Cole (left-back) - 6[/h] Steady night but still facing a real battle with Everton's Leighton Baines for his place in Brazil. [h=2]Andros Townsend (right midfield) - 6[/h] Lively in spells and came closest to an equaliser with a second-half shot that hit the post. [h=2]Steven Gerrard (centre midfield) - 6[/h] Sprayed some nice passes around in the first half and saw a long-range shot dip just over before being substituted early in the second half in his 108th international. [h=2]Tom Cleverley (centre midfield) - 5[/h] Once again a peripheral figure and substituted. Not making a serious case to be a regular in England's squad. [h=2]Adam Lallana (left midfield) - 5[/h] Tougher night after an impressive debut against Chile. Still must be regarded as very much an outsider for Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad. [h=2]Wayne Rooney (striker) - 6[/h] Quiet night for Rooney but no real service. Taken out of the action early. Will have better games than this. [h=2]Daniel Sturridge (striker) - 5[/h] Outstanding for Liverpool but yet to fully convince for England. At this level his over-elaboration often confuses himself rather than opposition defenders. SUBSTITUTES Kieran Gibbs (for Ashley Cole 53 mins) - 5 One or two forward runs after replacing Cole but not yet a serious threat to the man he came on for - or Everton's Leighton Baines. Jordan Henderson (for Steven Gerrard 56 mins) - 5 Quiet and not able to make any serious impact on the game. Jack Wilshere (for Tom Cleverley 64 mins) - 5 Like Henderson, given a spell in the second half to make his presence felt. He did not. Ross Barkley (for Wayne Rooney 71 mins) - 5 Always willing to try something but Everton's teenager, understandably, occasionally looks to be trying too hard to impress. Rickie Lambert (for Adam Lallana 76 mins) - 5 Late substitute when England were chasing the game. Did not get a chance to seriously influence the game but that was not his fault.

Its not a jungle, looks like my mates back yard in Perth. They wouldn't last 5 mins in a real jungle

Worse thing about loosing is that Sunderland are so poor and we look like we don't really give a dam. I was looking forward to playing Chelski

This is a total cop out to keep the Scots in line before next years referendum. Time after time when the orders have come in for new ships the northern yards got the bulk of the orders on Political grounds. It was the same at the Woolston Yard. A lot of people are going to loose the jobs just for political reasons. The Portsmouth yard is more modern and is far more efficient than Govern
