Hi All Just back from the F2 weekend at the Barcelona track. If anyone wants to go to an F1 meeting abroad next year then i can recommend the circuit outside Barca. The track has great views, a long straight and some of the stands are quite close to the action. Getting to the track was easy via the trains and they were very cheap (4 of us for a 2 day train return to Montmeló station from Barca central cost 12 euros). You can walk to the track from the station and it only takes approx 15mins. One thing that did strike me was that although the main stand was very good the rest of the track seating was no better than say Silverstone. The pit and paddock was not much better than Silverstone either so why is Bernie always slagging Silverstone off. Both the F2 races were not to good as my driver had DNF's in both races, one was a bit hairy as he had a suspension faliure and ended up flying when the front wheel decided to part company with the car and took a trip up the underside of the tub. Also look out for another Spaniard next year in F1. Andy Soucek dominated the F2 series and has now landed a test for Williams. Very nice guy and he spoke at lenght to my son yesturday and let him get in the car after the stewards had finnshed weighing it.

The reason Steven Gerrard got off scot free for his recent transgression was that he was tried in Liverpool. They were never going to do one of their own. But had it been held in Mancherster then yes he would have been nicked

Been saying all week this is the type of game where Saints of old take 2 steps forward and then go and blow lt loosing away to a team like Oldham. This takes the team to another level, confidence must be running very high and i belive that the playoffs are not an impossibility this season.

Hi All Off to Barcelona for the final F2 bash for the season for the last weekend in Oct. We are staying near the Ramblas and were wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get to the GP track by train as we are not hireing a car this weekend. Its live on Europsport so if you see a saints top in the paddock it will be me.

Hated cross counrty running from Hampton Park up to the common vis Burgess rd, going round the common and back. Had a friend who's parents owned a shop on Burgess rd so we would run like mad to the front, dive into his place and wait till the mugs all came back and then join back in pretendng to be knackered. Kadeem I hate racist in any form so before you go about spouting your mouth off have a think. I have worked all over Europe, middle East and South America. The UK poppulation is the most fair minded anywhere. Believe me when i say that if the idiots that do not represent the Muslims in this country spouted off against say Russian,or any other Eastern European or American during a military parade they would be lucky to get out alive. Try doing what happend in Luton in any other country and see if you could get away with it. Yet again those that try to stop the discussion decry the word racist hence we have the BNP and the EDL

Therein lies the problem, we are no longer allowed to discuss the problems regarding Muslims (The radicals) in a sensible way without the term racist being banded about. This is how Hitler,Mussolini and other despots started. They listened,garnered the parts of the population that felt that their fears/views were being ignored by the ruling parties and said we will listen and help you. Far right parties are already starting to gain mommentum in Europe. If we deal with any radicals in a fair way and i believe this is where the Muslim Council of GB could do more then maybe we can live in peace. My own views have become clouded with regards to Muslims in this country, in reality we are talking about a small minority of the poppulation that garner major headlines everyday. The likes of the major parties by not dealing with the issues in a serious sensible manor then allow the thugs and not particular bright members of the poppulation will always go with the likes of the BNP and alike. Its the fault of the ruling parties that stops the Police from doing their job that allows the BNP etc to gain support. I truly believe that we are storing up major problems by not dealing with the issues now. Also i have worked in Iran,Iraq and other Muslim countries and have found that providing i abide by their beliefs and ways then there has never been an issue. We could learn a lot from them and visa versa. Most Muslims are appaulled by the way the Radicals go about their bussiness.
