I was working in Tower Hamlets a few weeks ago and had to go to a local council office. All their leaflets, staff,info etc is done in every lingo going. Its no wonder we have segrigation when we have not asked people to fit into the counrty when we don't even asked them to even have a grasp of English. Being able to speak the same languge the best and easiest way for us all to get on. If we cannot communicate with eachother then you are in trouble straight away.We are fortunate down here that its not a major issue but i have been in and around some old the old mill towns up north and the middle east and i could not tell the diffrence at times apart from the weather. This is going to explode if not delt with but unfortunitly the Human rights idiots have for to long screwed up and stopped a democratic discussion taking place. This is when you get far right parties from all sides kicking off, allow the discussions and then you take away the idiots that twist things from both spectrums. Fully agree with Dig dig

I was offered a QS job over there last year on a massive new city developmnet just outside Cairo, glad i turned it down now.

Sony S370, it plays BBC iplayer,youtube and will soon play C4 and ITV player(You can get one for around £75 to £100). Conect it to your hub via hard wired cable or a wireless dongle in the back of the player. Be wary though as the Sony USB port at the back is not standard size and you have to buy they one which is about £70. I have the same player hooked up to my router via cable (always better than wireless) and the main PC again hooked up via cable. I can see all my movies that are on the PC upstairs with no problems. Use a download called Serviio for creating a server as it is the only one that the Sony player seems to reconise. It will even play MKV files which are usualy bluray or HD quality.

Update, Sony delievered an new PS3 today. The guy delivering said they have had lots of returns and Sony are replacing the PS3 if its around 6 months over the guarantee. Looks like they are trying to hide the fact there are problems with the PS3 cooling again as they don't want the bad publicity

Nippers PS3 packed up today,turns on then off straight away, its the newer slimline model. Called Sony tonight and explained that it was just over a year old so expected Sony to say hard luck but no they are going to deliver a new one tomorow and take the old one away, did not exspect that. We all moan about poor service but it makes a change to say well done Sony. Only worry is it looks like Sony still have an overheating problem with the PS3 again

My company are looking to stream TV into the office. It needs to be legal. Looking around the net there seams to be companies out there but the reviews don't look good. Anyone been down this route, it has to be able to get UK free to air and possibly pay per view.

Peter Walton Rest my case, the worse display of reffing i have seen in nearly 40 years. All refs are only human and will make mistakes from time to time but his display in the Leeds game was a total disgrace. I know a few local refs who were at that game and they agreed he was a joke.

Happend right behind me and my nipper. He was asked to sit down. He pointed to the stewards and said what about everyone else. They asked him again and he said come here and make me. They said we will so he came back and said Come here and i will knock yor f**king head off. Fair enough that he got kicked out but this could have been done and dusted with with the coppers in seconds. Most people up for trouble give it to the stewerds as they have limited powers but if a copper comes over then that usually nips it in the bud. The guys was either very drunk or on something as he looked like he was up for kicking off from the start of the game.

same old story is it. Speed camaras are a means of making money and have nothing to do with slowing people down. Why did the CPO nick this guy this week who was warning motorist that a speed camera had been set up. Surley he was slowing people up so thats safe but no the coppers wanted people to speed so they could nik them. Also if its about speed and not money why are councils around the country taking them out, because they don't get to keep the money raised. So that means that they care more about the money than saving lives. I do agree with cameras if they are in the right place say outside schools, local parks etc but normaly they are placed to make the max money. The temp signs you see telling you to slow down are very good. One other thing cameras do not catch drink/drug and un insured drivers and that is a bigger menace.

Stayed at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, nice beach and pools. Good food and not far out of town. They did a free shuttle run into town last time i was there. Go to Dubai again if you can its a great place. Skiing in the mornning, beach in the afternoon

Just had a call from a work mate. Be carefull as there is a copper stood under the bridge at Bitterne just passed the static speed cameras with a speed gun. Think they would have something better to do.

My Company car is up for sale end of Feb. Its an Audi A3 2.0Ltr TDI S-Line Quattro on a 2007 plate done 52k miles. Its in great nick with full history. The lease company say i can have it with 12 months warranty for £10.6k. Does anyone know if this is a good deal.

The new owners realy have not got a clue if they think getting Ronaldinho in will save them. The guy will take stupid money each week and Blackburn will still leak goals at the other end. Its just a big ego trip for the new Indian owners

Just picked up a Sony 370 from Currys, they price matched Richersounds. This player has got very good reviews

We got the LG 42 inch LCD in the end for £350 in Currys (did a bit a haggling). Just hooked it up to the Sky HD and wow what a great picture.

Have put a new card in , its working great and much better than wireless
