His record suggests that after a decent start at Espanyol the team steadily declined resulting in a parting of the ways in November. Espanyol have improved considerably under their new manager which would suggest that he was part of the problem. Adkins achieved 17 points from our last 12 matches, an excellent progression after a difficult start..But not good enough for Cortese. It would be useful if Cortese could let us all know what his expectations are for the remainder of the season so that we can reasonably judge MP's performance. What is the "next level"? Good luck to MP, he is going to need it working for Cortese & Reed.

My guess is that they want to avoid lots of exchange transactions as people discover that there are a better seats available once the unclaimed season ticket holder seats are released for sale. I think they could have given a longer period, 3 days perhaps. There would still be plenty of time for general sale.
