What does the "except" bit mean? You seem to have a significant problem with two adults in a consensual relationship. Why?
-
He approves. Thank God for that. 🙏🙏🙏

Put the keys to the open top bus down. We've played one match, mainly against ten men, and lost.

NO. SIGNIFICANT. WEAKNESSES. Basically we're signing the perfect footballer. Well done Saints and thanks for the confirmation WhoScored dotcom 👍👍👍👍👍

Leicester did not "kick on" and win the Premier League. The season before they finished 14th on their first season back in the Prem, exactly where we finished in our first season back under Adkins/Pochettino the season before. Was an amazing freak season. They didn't spend to win the league, they didn't build towards it, it was just an amazing one-off season. The money they got from that eventually got them some decent seasons and the FA Cup under Rodgers, who half this forum wrote off as a shit manager because he said that thing about us once. But they kicked on a bit after the League win. Which ended them back in the Championship. Still Brighton are perfect and will never ever have a bad season ever again ever.

Brighton finished 11th last season. Not entirely sure where this "kicking on" has happened, they've not done any better than we did under Koeman etc.

We have got Newcastle United right where we want them. Brilliant Russell 👏 👏 👏

I wish we were Brentford 2021.
-
So you can't name club that was "ready" then.
-
If you are using Nottingham Forest, who signed about 30 players in their pre-season as an example of a club that was "ready" for the Premier League then I am sorry but I really don't know what you are talking about.
-
Pretty much no teams is ever "ready" for the Premier League. It's not "one or the other", it's all promoted clubs ever.
-
Sorry this is a silly thing to say. If we'd have stayed down another season the team would have been torn up again. The idea we would have just carried on "getting ready" for the Premier League is nonsense. It doesn't work like that. We'd be bumming around hoping to make top 6 like WBA/Norwich last season. THB and Downes would be gone for a start so the spine would be ripped out and we'd start again.

The Conservatives took office in 2010 with the National Debt at 64% of GDP (£1 trillion), they left office with it at 96.5% (before Covid it was still higher at 75%, close to £2 trillion). So the Tories just borrowed borrowed borrowed and borrowed and spent spent spent. The "other peoples money" pathetic cliche is applicable to the Conservatives as much (if not more) than any other party. Because they sure as shit didn't "create" or "spend" their "own" money. They kept spending "other peoples money" regardless. But as GM just spouts cliche and buzzwords doesn't really understand, it's not much of a surprise he's wheeling out the oldest and most disprovable. .

I think it will actually look quite good on TV.

I wish we were Leicester and Hove Albion.

Whenever you're ready you can answer the question I asked previously. Who are these people you are talking about in the post below?
