To maybe play devils advocate slightly. Saints have the third highest shots on target this season, but something like third from bottom conversion rate. Somewhere around 5% I think from memory. So, JWP, and others, could put the ball on a plate for players, but if they don’t score, it won’t go down as an assist.

What is laughable? I just passed on what I was told today?
-
Don’t know. Just passing on what I was told today. My guess would be; see what happens today, and then talks about how to move forward.

Was told today that Hughes has this game and the international break to convince the board he is up to it. Also told Koeman would be interested in a return now.

Say where you came from, and where you are going to after Portugal, and I can prove if you are fake or not. Love and light. -
Or we could put Lovren up their from his shoulders down, as we all know his head is in Liverpool. I'll get my coat, let the door hit my ass on the way out to get to my taxi.........

I think of Shilton straight away. Loved watching him at The Dell.

Fixed it for you.

A couple of years ago he said the only team he would come back to play for would be Cardiff. That was a couple of years ago and we know, money talks.

I flew 9 Liverpool supporters over to Kiev. They were very confident and said it was their year. Had no sympathy when I told them I wan a Saints fan and said it’s the way it is with transfers and tapping up. Lots of drinking, bugging themselves up and reminiscing about the past. I wished them well well as they left and said good luck and I hope it’s an ex Saints player that scores the winner. So into themselves they thought I meant for them and said ‘arrrr thanks mate’ They got what I meant when I picked them up. Very quiet flight back!

Great Escapes - past and present ... is this the best ?
Behind Enemy Lines replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
Not for me. The past great escapes were because we didn’t have a squad of players that were easily capable of a comfortable mid or higher table finish. They were inspiring to watch and be part of as a fan because everyone throughout the club put the effort in. This ‘great escape’ was brought on by bad management on many levels in the club over the past few seasons. We (probably) have got enough in the bag now thanks to MH and the players upping their games. But it really was (probably) just about enough, just in time. I’m ecstatic we are (probably) safe and it was as tense as I would like it. However, I don’t want to go through that again; I’m too old for that! I Just hope there are changes, appointments, departures and some leadership from our new owner from now on. I’ll be there on Sunday for (hopefully) celebrations; don’t let us down Saints! -

Welcome back and good luck Mark. Behind you and the team 100%. -
If he’s 12 foot tall, he might get some headers in from a Cedric cross. On a serious note, welcome to Saints!!!

There's no airport at Monaco!
-
I don't know how they could be tracking a flight to Monaco from Southampton. It's impossible!
-
Would make Southampton an even more likely departure airport for him!
