  1. Green CAN'T hold their registration anyway. To do that he would first have to own a football club who were members of the SFA. His Newco are not. His Newco are merely "owners" of a stadium, training ground etc, although even that is under serious doubt ! Non story put about by the usual "friendly" Scottish press to put the fear into others.
  2. Yup but not quite as pointless & useless & corrupt as the SPL Board !
  3. Can't believe anybody has any sympathy for these cheating gits. By going bust they have shafted Rapid Vienna for a million but insist Everton pay the full wack on the subsequent transfer. They also stuffed Hearts for £800k for Wallace who continues to play for them today ! Add in all the millions owed, tax dodging, dual contracts & constant threats to all & sundry, and some people want to "show a bit of class" ? 96% of Scottish fans, including most of their own, want them to start at the bottom of Div 3. But their friends at the SFA/SPL are trying to rip up the rules to chase the money. They deserve NOTHING !
  4. If Man U were found to be cheating the same way, would the English FA try every trick in the book to minimise the fall out & sneak Utd back via the Championship ? And threaten all the other Clubs in the process ? Because this is what their Scottish equivalent are trying to do now. Fortunately the average Scots football fan has quite rightly said....F*** Off ! But will that be enough ? I'm sure it is a mere coincidence that Campbell Ogilvie, former RANGERS Director, is currently President of the SFA...................
  5. Errrr...........over 3 million ! Including £800K they owed to Hearts for Wallace. Gone forever but somehow he keeps playing for Rangers. Funnier still is the million or so they owed to Rapid Vienna for Jelavic which they'll never get. However, Rangers are still insisting that Everton pay them the FULL amount for that subsequent transfer !
  6. Rangers have been CHEATING for decades. The only way they could afford paying for their "superstars" was by hiding payments offshore & therefore avoiding tax. The Scottish media conveniently turned a blind eye until Internet, yes INTERNET, investigators started shouting. The SFA/SPL also ignored it until they couldn't any longer. They then tried to allow Rangers to dump their debts & come back as if nothing had happened. Thank God for the Scottish fans. Integrity won the day. England ? Ask the Bury fans what they thought of being sacrificed to let them in. Ask Manchester if they enjoyed the "quality fans" during the UEFA Cup Final. Ask all the SPL Chairmen if they relished the threats received from these "quality fans". And if Rangers don't do as well as they think in Div 4 or whatever, ask yourselves if you would accept that they are too big to be relegated because of TV money. They even threatened their own players with court action this week. Note that they have still to be punished for going to court against FIFA regulations as well ! They quite simply won't accept that they have done anything wrong or anybody has any right to punish them. I hear that only 13 Rangers players turned up for the start of training today........plus Gazza with a fishing rod & some chicken......
  7. There's no chance Lallana would go to Celtic. There's no reserve league up there any more & he's too old for the under 19 squad...
  8. Think you meant ex-saints managers..........
  9. Yeah that's why Saints are paying Robbie Keane's wages for 6 months..............and spent more than 5 million in Jan.........
  10. Man walks into Soton bookies. "What odds for Saints to get a penalty against Notts Forest tomorrow and miss it" Bookie: "Saints ? Matt Le Tiss takes their penalties. He NEVER misses. 50-1" Man: "Here's a hundred".................
  11. Beware what you wish for. Ask Greater Manchester police ! Wonder what Rangers fans will do to Pompey ? Already a ruin...................
  12. Rod & Billy Connelly have got seats at Celtic Park next to each other with their names on. I've actually sat there during a stadium tour. Lifelong membership as you say. No chance of Rod buying Saints. He's well known to be tighter than a real Scotsman ! Even his family said he's a miserly git !
  13. WGS has regularly stated his utter disgust at the "ignorant people on the Internet & fans forums" so I wouldn't hold your breath lads ! By the way, this article sums up brilliantly the situation with WGS. Caught the mood perfectly & predicted exactly what happened. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/scottishpremier/4681265/Dull-SPL-title-race-causes-concern.html Gordon was back & Celtic Park yesterday for a charity game. He spoke well of his time & was given a huge round of applause.
  14. Your apologies accepted............
  15. Look at the title of the thread. I'm afraid you sum up all that is bad about the support. Nothing else more to say really.
  16. I'm a Celtic fan & frankly they won 3 titles DESPITE Strachan, not because of him. A lucky manager rather than a good one with unbelieveable team selection and strategy. Only had to beat the worst Rangers team in 30 years & bought more crap than a manure supplier. Was an embarrassment at media briefings & suffered from "wee man syndrome". Served up some of the most turgid football I've ever seen & couldn't win away from home. Apart from that, he was OK. Welcome Mr Bilic..................
  17. I used to be one of the "Owners" of Ebbsfleet but didn't renew this year. Had it's good points such as members coughing up extra for players & an overnight stay in the FA Vase semi etc. But the reason I joined was to pick the team and it never happened. Most members just voted "leave it to the manager" every week. Cleared the debts though & got to go to Wembley & win a cup ! Great fun but wouldn't work at Premier level.
  18. And the Tartan Army booing players who were drinking. Oh the irony................
  19. Huge rumour going round Glasgow that Celtic are in discussions about a takeover. It gets them into the English League & they see it as a route to the Premier & the money. WGS more than happy to come back & manage. Celtic leave a "second" team in the Scottish League & that gets it more competitive. It's seen as the reason Celtic didn't spend during January & they now have less than £1m debt. Could be interesting......
