I'm not so sure, they still managed to add £1.50 to the season ticket!!
-
😥One of the nicest people you could ever meet. Shocked and greatly saddened. RIP.
-
I phoned the club on Friday and they still didn't have any ticket details.
-
Well only if it's right?

If we have a keeper, who does not tell the manager he is injured to the point that his is practically immobile, a management team that don't notice when the keeper is not taking goal kicks, nor ask why even if they do, and a captain trying to manage the situation on the pitch himself without talking to the touchline, our problems are far bigger than conceding an injury time equaliser.

Didn't another south coast club look at relocating to Basingstoke back in the 90's/early 00's? An idea of Mr Venables?

If you read the above post from HarvSFC, we're quite entitled to draw conclusions from the pattern emerging. American business ethic is profit before all else and cost cutting to the bone. I wouldn't want one at all.

Chelsea 1-1 (p.4-3) Saints - Match Thread
SalisburySaints replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I'm not sure any of us know either! -
We NEVER sell out at Goodison, even under Hughes when it was a massive relegation game. We took the full allocation but the upper tier had loads of empty seats. Taking the full allocation here will just throw money away and justify the clubs stance elsewhere when indeed we should take larger allocations. This game isn't one of them.

Man City twice in the next week. It might not even be the worst defeat of the month!
-
Was there for the play-off game against Tranmere. Was a nightmare to get to and park that evening but I think I'm right in saying that was their highest ever attendance for a league game. Should be a lot easier for our visit and while the away terrace is the whole of one side, I suspect it will be like Cambridge and only open the main stand (which is the newest, all-seater and pretty decent). You certainly don't want to park in the centre and walk, it's about a mile and all uphill and pretty steep in places.

* WHO tell us * 1 in 38 obviously.
-
Every single year there are people on here with 'inside knowledge' two tell us who we have first and every single year they're wrong. You would think someone would get it right by random chance (1 in 38), but no-one ever does. Away to Villa is my guess.

The absolute epitome of what a captain should be. Never heard a negative word from him or about him. Hope the young players at the club learnt a thing or two from him. Hope he wins the title with Rangers.
-
I completely agree. Unfortunately he has the wrong attitude, so now matter how much potential he has, he won't get anywhere close to realising it. The games littered with examples.
-
You realise there is one, very major flaw in your argument??
-
Sorry but it WAS boring. The last two home games of last season were awful and many season ticket holders stayed away. I'm not saying it turned out to be the correct decision but clearly he has more to work with at Leicester. I think its more a case of someone above the managers dictating the style of play and limiting their role. Cannot see anything other than a big defeat today.

Remember taking my Dad's spanner and screwdriver to take my seat at the end. Started undoing the fixings with about 5 minutes of the game to go to the disgust of the woman behind us. At the end she was asking to borrow them to do the same! Matt's goal was an amazing moment. The moment you knew you we living a moment that was pure fantasy. i don't think I'd swap that moment for a trophy win. Remember my mate saying he wouldn't go to the Brighton game after that finish, he wanted to remember that moment as his last there. Went to nearly 500 games there and occasionally miss it. We wouldn't have got relegated from the Prem in 2005 if we'd played there that season, but totally inadequate for top flight football nowadays. Also, remember going to the ticket office one Saturday afternoon when i was about 12. It coincident with a reserve game, so off we popped, bought the tickets and entered the main stand upper tier (I think it was free for reserve fixtures in those days), anyway, in place for 45 minutes and then the half time whistle went. Or we thought it was the half time whistle. All the players shook hands and every fan got up to leave. Turned out the game started at 2pm and we'd only seen the second half!! No internet in those days and too embarrassed to ask another fan the actual score so to this day I have no idea what the result was!! I'm pretty sure it was against Oxford United and the first team got beat at Tottenham, heavily if I remember as the tannoy announced the goals at WHL as they went in. Happy days!! I've also got some pictures of me and a mate playing on the pitch with no-one else around. We entered via the Archers Road end while it was being converted to all seater. The one man security operation wasn't very happy and we didn't stay very long!!

This. Totally

Agreed re the kick off times but with us not being in Europe next season, there should, hopefully be more on Saturday at 3pm. Going to Hull on a Sunday afternoon was a major pain in the ar$e.

Cannot see how anyone can argue with this.

When will tickets go on sale for the final?
SalisburySaints replied to SaintLondon's topic in The Saints
Not massively. A mate of mine is a massive Saints fan but works for Manchester United in their commercial department in London. Therefore he is involved in the arrangements I have posted above. Hence it was he who told me that the home/away teams have been decided because these plans need to be put in place prior to the outcome of the Semi's being confirmed. -

We're in black. Merchandising had to be put in place before now, hence the decision as to who is home and away. I understand both teams will be putting scarves on their fans seats at Wembley so it's already arranged. -

I believe we are the away team and will be in our away kit. This was decided before the semi's took place with Hull/Mn Utd winning the toss. -
Did that change? Remember poortsmuff having the bigger allocation in the League Cup.
