This is very true and i fear sunday papered over cracks, a better defense would have stopped two crosses, we need to get forward quicker and stop being cautious even when in opposition half. Possession stats mean nothing , goals count
-
thats weird i actually agree with Dalek to much hype, advertising, clackers etc and forgetting that the whole success depends on the first team, without that it all falls down.
-
All gone down hill since they introduced those clacker things

Ranked! Premier PL fans by their annoyingness

Nonsense -
totally agree just a lazy way for people to claim they give 100% support, wonder how much its costing to put 1 on each seat for home games so far
-
why do we have to go behind before we go for it ?
-
can play but needs to hurt teams more, especially by running into box with ball make defenders make a decision.
-
sorry will wait until after next week to get carried away , as Pardew said today Jamie Redknapp would have looked good against Palace today
-
until we realize that most goals are scored in the box and start putting the ball into it, rather than tracking back from near the corner flag to play it square across the back then go up the other wing, don't cross, and track back again, we are just going to get worst. I would rather see Long chasing lost causes than the current technical play which produces nothing

Agree we are just a flashy advertising campaign these days, that has lost site of the fact that in football without a strong first team everything else is "sand".

Black cannot remember when he was last involved in a successful side

exactly uncle les's luck may have finally run out
-
And that is what worries me , Watford are not good, for some reason we need to over complicated games, games are won by goals which come about from shots or pulling back crosses into the box For some reason we do not shoot until it becomes desperate and would rather check back than cross very frustrating and bear in mind we have not played a good side yet
-
think it will be a real challenge, we have not improved squad just hope the others have all bought badly
-
got ours yesterday, just car park pass to come

pathing the way for no new players coming in -
Combination of boring football, constantly changing kick off times and in some cases a shambles regarding club parking arrangements

after watching for the last 57 years, i honestly believe if Puel stays we will be fighting relegation next season. Poor home form, one system which is easy to suss out, no adventure or midfield players who can hurt defenders with early passes or are afraid to try for fear of losing possession. A manager who is stubborn, mixed with a coach who knows all about failure , all the ingredients are at SMS The quality of entertainment stinks, stars of the past must be horrified by the "crab football"
-
exactly nothing to do with his poor English or interviews just his football approach if he stays I expect to be in a relegation fight next season

In the same boat, but renewed Tuesday but not happy with the Club. My Mum/Dad who are both 83 will not be renewing because without a car park place near the ground, they were in Freeborn, there is no way they could walk to SMS from city centre. I have argued with Club because the excuse is they are still talking with owners of car park sites, but Club knew when Renewals were going to be , so I suspect they may be going to do with parking for season ticket holders and allocate spaces to Corporates

Like the OP i watched him last night, makes loads of runs but received the ball once. It appears ingrained in the players, to either go side ways or check back and lay it back. The forward players are more worried by their defensive duties than hurting the opposition

Depends on Board ambition, if they really want to "March On" then , imo, he has taken us as far as he can, Atkins was sacked for that reason. i would like to see him gone, fed up with being out thought in home games where we are so predictable and the worst thing for me is the subs, like for like never positive like two up front at home basically boring
