Another result like 67/68 would be nice 6-2 win. Only problem was the Shed did not like it , police horses on the pitch after the game.We were stood at what was called I think , the North Stand massive old structure long walk back to Fulham Broadway Think we won there the following year as well

for by 54 years of support of the saints, other than 3 years the skates have always lived in the past to an era before they were all born. Used to get annoyed by it now I just laugh, what is interesting how quickly here in border country that they have disappeared to wa*k themselves silly over teams they never saw play. suppose they are like Royal Engineers supporters

RIP Kev, top bloke

My thoughts exactly, owners/supporters all skate bas*ards

When it was mainly terrace except Upper West and East Stands, you were lucky if you could see all the pitch.Toilets were cr*p, getting a drink took hours. When they introduced seats all round it changed. All of a sudden you had to get organized to sit with mates you had stood with for years. Life was so different we put up with terrible conditions and facilities but it was the norm. Home games could start for big games from 10am when the Haymarket opened until 11 at night when the last bus left town

Agreed I have grown up watching the true greats Paine, Channon, Holmes and Le Tiss, Saints fans love loyalty

what is brilliant is that it is like putting two figures up to all those who deserted the club when we went to Div 3 (sorry old name), he stood by us and now reaops the benefits, a true Saint in my opinion

So no Cup Run the old flexible cash flow forecast will have to be reviewed, better off putting the takings on the 3.30 at Haydock. Electric bill will be due soon

Game was to easy for him, he is better in the battles away from Home against the "weaker" teams he has to much time which is strange coming from Celtic

Thing is it effects a lot of Southampton people who work their as well, plus the support services for those people
-
Think problem is the number of what you call "boozers" in the city centre has dropped a lot and basically they do not attract custom other than match days, for some reason
