How many more signings do you think we'll make ?
70's Mike replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
Sums up my thoughts, we have had 5 years relative success and people think it is easy. We had a great group of players who, apart from the odd one or two, gelled both on and off field. I really hope Sam Gallagher/Pelle can grab 25 goals between them, if they don't survival will be difficult IMO -
Got to have a product people want first

proud to be ,with 2 sons, one of the 14000 that stuck by the club, handing over my hard earned cash to watch a pile of sh*t. hated the fact that the talking points were of the pitch i still look round me at SMS and think where were you a few years back to some of the people sat by us,sad i know but mouthy JCL wind me up -

this ,60 as well, but in that period we as fans have always held the Board to account if things do not smell right. me i will be standing as tall as i can these days in support of the team BUT i do not think that involves carte blanche support of the board if i am not happy with how they are running the club

Not happy with his AD but my bigger concern is why do all these players want away from Club at any cost.

Your last sentence is the key, saints supporters have always backed "the academy lads" and generally not got on their backs. So many new players may be difficult to bed in both as a group of players and with the fans. a lot of the older fans I talk to , who have seen upheavals before, are struggling to reconcile what has happen with the statements from RK and Uncle Les, a distrustful atmosphere between fans and club does not bode well if things start poorly on the pitch

nearly right but should read Reed got more power and players did not like it

lets have a good first team first, stinks of quality catering, radio station and insurance business -
Really hope you are correct But I agree with Dalek 17th will be good. History shows that building an average squad is not the way forward, we need a strong first 11 first, so replacing any players who leave with real quality needs to be a priority or the Championship could be a real possibility.

if you want to sit on the bench , leave if you want to stay in the england squad, stay and play

other than Man U, Arse and Everton think our record on managers is similar to many others, however I also believe that whoever takes the job could be on a hiding to nothing from the fans as they have a tough act/season to be compared with -
good afternoon, looking back amazes me that so many of us got to these games without an internet forum full of wum's
